No. Or QBs, OL, TE, DL, CB, kickers WR is ok maybe - it’s hard to know. But you can’t have anymore of those.
Congrats to msu for getting out of the worst contract in football. Hopefully someone puts a lock on jimbo's flip phone once he starts evan williamsing
They originally said this would be decided in October. It was used as some rationalization for why they acted like they did and weren't only caving to media pressure
Yeah, I don't get the rationale of telling him he's fired for cause before the hearing and ultimate conclusion of the investigation. They waited this long. What's a few more weeks when he's already on unpaid suspension?
They didn’t know the details of his deposition until the report last Saturday night. Suspended him w/o pay on the Sunday and today wrote him a letter that he was going to be terminated due to what he’s already admitted to and their investigation. The hearing is still going ahead in October. MSU has no formal role in that and Tucker can choose to participate if he wants. Then the appeals and lawsuits start.
I'd love to know what has suddenly come to light from a week ago when they first decided to suspend him.
it was a hilariously bad contract the day they signed it. all time bailout that he was dumb and gave them an out.
The termination letter cites tweets by people to show public disrespect on the university. This is everyone's time to become witnesses in the lawsuit, get those tweets out there...
This is why in my original post I said the who's who of yikes. Jones Day are like the dead-eyed sharks even in the legal world.
Removing the sex pest element of this for a sec - why would an extramarital affair be a breach of contract? They should have just left it with having an inappropriate relationship with a university vendor
There’s a whole book about it! Servants of the Damned: Giant Law Firms, Donald Trump, and the Corruption of Justice https://a.co/d/bLPOSEM
You could smoke in Jones Day offices until shockingly recently because they did so much work for tobacco companies. You might still be able to in some of the international offices without laws forbidding it.
they employed Scalia, Megyn Kelly, and Don McGahn, but your statement isn’t really backed up by the data.
A lot of their partners were upset over the direction the head guy took things in the mid 2010s w McGahn and the fellas.
