We should have been in on Joc, but he could be a guy that wanted to go to the Cubs. I could see a guy his age/personality being drawn to Wrigleyville
Josh Lindblom will begin the season in the Brewers bullpen. Freddy Peralta gets that final rotation spot. Woodruff Burnes Houser Anderson Peralta
RHP Ray Black has cleared waivers and has been outrighted to the Alternate Training Site RHP Justin Topa (flexor strain) will miss "at least the first half of the season," Craig Counsell said.
(un)fortunately it looks like Knebel found himself again for now. Yard and Ras unfortunately lost themselves.
Hey guys, White Sox fan here - I'm interested in maybe heading up to Milwaukee in late July for the White Sox series. Would anyone be able to clarify what the ticket sales process is for Brewers home games right now? When it comes to the White Sox, they're opening up ticket sales by home stand about 2 weeks prior with season ticket holders being given priority access, and then opening up the sales to the general public afterwards. Are the Brewers following a similar process? Hopefully this is moot by July, but still want to get an idea how much I should budget for tickets and when I can buy them in case things are still relatively closed off. Thanks for any info and good luck today vs. the lame ass cubbies.
I could be way off but i believe they sell home tickets in bunches for a duration of days/games. Right now they are selling through late May. Come July things may be different. I'd continue to keep an eye on what span of days are on sale or sign up for notifications on ticket availability. Not sure how it looks price wise. Tailgating is great as always. https://www.mlb.com/brewers/tickets/single-game-tickets https://m.facebook.com/Brewers FB announces availability as well. I don't believe you can select what seats you want unless you call in or go third party for sales.
Good idea on the email notification and I’ll keep tabs on it. Looks like the Brewers are opening these sales up sooner rather than later so I’ll have to be quick on the trigger. I’ve never caught a game at Miller park...any area of the stadium you’d recommend? Otherwise, I’ll probably splurge on one game, sit in the outfield for another, and do nosebleeds for another. Just thinking about this is making me excited, I love baseball trips. Can’t wait to get up there to catch hopefully two first place teams going at it, drink some spotted cow, and eat some delicious cheese curds.
I feel like if a few people don't get shit figured out quick we are going to see a Hernan Perez call up any day now
He was hitting like 450 with a 1.4 OPS, if it doesn't click for him in the bigs he's just a AAAA player.
Alrighty, trip is all set. Looking forward to getting up there and bonding with Brewers fans over our shared hatred of the Cubbies (can't really do that with Cards fans since Cards fans are so damned weird and are a bunch of hillibillies, whereas Brewers fans are normal people).
Adames may be up there next to CC for the best mid-season acquisitions for us. Best record in the league since his pick up, clutch hitting, good defense, 17-18 last day games won Slash lines this year as of yesterday Rays: 142PA .197/.254/.371 Brewers: 144PA .279/.354/.504 Dude was not lying when he said he couldn’t see the ball at the Trop
