Illinois, Indiana, Wisconsin, & Minnesota? I'm guessing the exception is that it's ok as long as she's thinner than or has less facial hair than you. Spoiler Ohio wouldn't need those exceptions because it's not plausible to find a thin, barefaced Ohio female.
they're from a Russian designer named Anton Balazh http://unofficialnetworks.com/2014/06/detailed-relief-maps-show-worlds-mountain-ranges https://www.fotolia.com/p/201424578 (warning: very large files. you probably want to right-click > open in new window) Spoiler
author states: "This map taps into the place names contained in the USGS National Hydrography Dataset to show how the generic names of streams vary across the lower 48. Creeks and rivers are symbolized in gray due to their ubiquity (although the etymology behind the American use of creek is interesting), while bright colors symbolize other popular toponyms."
my old roommate who was from chicago used to use the most ridiculous, over-the-top southern accent and tell people he was from "old crick, mississippi" just to mess with them so that's usually what i think about when i hear the word creek
leroi cleared it up. Lots of geographic names with Branch. everything is creek or stream in everyday vernacular.
This thread is teaching me all sorts of douchey words that I'm going to go out of my way to use for a little while. Add consanguinity to the list.
Never heard anybody refer to a stream/creek as anything other than that. Am aware that some places call it a brook (northeast) crick (South) or bayou (Louisiana) but I've never heard of any of those others.
Can't remember for sure about Walmart, but I know for damn sure I didn't go to McDonald's, Subway, CVS, Burger King or Dollar Tree in March
Went to Taco Bell once but that's it for me. Haven't visited any of the others in quite some time. I do visit a Dollar General fairly often, however.
If you aren't shopping at Walgreen's on the reg, you're doing life wrong. The Balance Rewards deals alone make it a weekly trip for me.
god damnit people its talking about toponyms - not what people call a small, moving body of water example: "What's the name of that creek over yonder?" "I think it's called Rocky Branch/Fork/Run/Swamp/etc"
Interactive "Rent vs. Buy" map put together by Trulia. Based on criteria you select, it will tell you whether it's cheaper to rent or buy in some of the country's top real estate markets. http://www.trulia.com/vis/rentvsbuy-spring-2015/
I mean you're using a formula from a company that's in the business of selling houses... Akin to using a conservative think tank as a reason to support the flat tax.
CVS Dollar Tree Taco Bell all for sure But to be honest it's the 1st time in many years that I went into a dollar store, but now I go in all the time to buy cat food to feed the fox
