They actually got me with the Walker twist. I was sure he was working with Ethan when they made it obvious he switched the cell phones.
Bought the Blu Ray yesterday and watched it again. This still bothers me. She fucked over the IMF. Her people were severely compromised and working for a terrorist, leading to Baldwin getting killed and Lark/Lane getting away. Yet she's still some kind of hero at the end. Also, from watching some of the special features, it's clear the helicopter thing was just a case of Cruise wanting to fly a helicopter and them forcing it into the story. It's still stupid, and Cruise is insane with all that shit. How he hasn't died yet making these movies is kind of a miracle.
Man I love this. I do wish he could do a Without Remorse too though. That’s in my top 3 Clancy books. Just an incredible story.
Just watched Fallout high and it was incredible. Tom Cruise needs to make as many of these as he can before he gets too old for this. MI:3 through MI:6 is the greatest action series of the last 20 years.
I’m assuming direct it. It’s the type of movie that would need someone who can provide good pacing. The book is incredible, but would need to be cut in places for a feature film. I would trust him to do that well. Edit- I meant McQuarrie to direct Without Remorse. Not Cruise be in it. Sorry for misunderstanding you. The article I originally quoted mentioned that the studio grabbed McQuarrie who had been linked to MBJ’s Without Remorse.
As much as a shit bird TC is, he's one hell of an actor Also I hated the CGI lightning shit in this scene
i'm actually watching this right now while I'm home waiting for a plumber. i am very much looking forward to the next one
Dammit. The next filming location for the new Mission Impossible was three weeks in Venice. So, yeah, that shoot ain't happening now.
He is gonna die for our entertainment, and I'm fine with that. "Your mission, if you choose to accept it......that's the thing, right?"
It’s a Patreon only podcast so you have to pay, but Bret Easton Ellis had Nic Pizzolato on his namesake podcast and they did two episodes that are ~2 hours each going through Cruise’s career. Was pretty fascinating imo if you want to go on a Cruise deep dive. https://www.patreon.com/posts/b-e-e...urce=copy_to_clipboard&utm_campaign=postshare
Tom Cruise's church has ruined lives. Tom Cruise's financed productions has helped lives. Which one to choose.
