I kid, Miles made way better plays than that. Burke is like Megatron out there and wins every ball targeted for him, but then doesn't know what to do with it.
not sure what is going on between him and Gio but he needs to be starting. because lord knows the offense has everybody injured and sucks asshole.
If it was for a couple laughable GK errors (those are the words of the greatest keeper in league history not mine) he’d be the top rated player in the whole damn league. If he can get to double digit goals and still lead the league in tackles he’s going for 8 figures.
The RBNJ dorks that follow the academy stuff have been talking about Philly poaching kids right out of the academy for a few years now.
That being said, I don't like the homegrown territory rules. I don't have a solution to fix the problems with it. If Philly is eating your lunch and raiding your academy, figure out why they're all leaving and fix it.
To me they should just have to pay some % sell on fee if they ever sell them. Not high either, like 3-5%.
It sucks, but I feel like anything that limits actual children from pursuing the best opportunities for them is unethical. Want to try joining the Galaxy academy, but you live in Minnesota? Sucks for you. You were at RBNJ and all the coaches left? Nah you can't go find another MLS academy where you feel comfortable.
Sounds like if the low Apple TV sign ups are true, signing Messi will be a much needed boost to help.
