When Jermaine Jones came to MLS a few years back, the rules on incoming players, especially larger players like that are very muddled and secret. Chicago and New England both wanted him. The MLS did a "blind name draw". They basically put the 2 team names in a hat and drew a name
Nothing matters. All players worth a damn that come into the league are going to Toronto, Atlanta, NY, or LA
It's actually good they didn't win that bid as that location has no subway access, just LIRR. The site that's been getting the most talk lately is Willets Point, right across from Citi Field.
Makes sense. Just surprised they still don't have a stadium deal finalized. I thought that was a big portion of getting into the league.
It was that oil and Yankee money that allowed them in before having a stadium plan. Hopefully they get something going by the end of 2018.
RBNY trying to get in on the South American trend again. This time spending $6million for a 22 year old Argentinean. Hope he's not another Veron
So it's Sacha and 150,000 Garberbucks to Orlando and we get Carlos Rivas and Tommy Redding. Good deal if they can play up to their potential
Sweet sweet Garber Bucks. Sportings been shopping Benny all offseason. They got some Frenchman named Yohan Croizet to replace him.
This was funny, check the spoiler if you watch and don't know why Spoiler away destination on 3/31 and 8/24 #ElTraffico
Ugh fuck As if I needed more reason to be upset when I should normally be excited. Schedule release and jersey unveil but so much negativity looming over the Club. One of our young homegrown players (Alex Crognale) had his mom tweeting the same sentiment. This should be a happy time. She threw in a #ThanksDon and #SaveTheCrew
I didn’t think anything of it because I think they look good and for as long as they’re in town, there will be backlash if they do anything other than a black and a gold.
I want one honestly but don’t want to give Precourt any money outside of ticket sales unless they stay. I’ve considered parking offsite and walking this season as well as making sure to eat ahead of time so I’m not buying any concessions
Sounds like a done deal for a $2.5 million transfer fee. 23 year old Peruvian to keep with this offseasons theme. If they stick with a 4231 looks like it’ll be La Joya on the right, Blanco left, Valeri in the middle and Adi up top. So dirty.
They’ve been saying this would be done any day now from back before xmas. $7 million transfer fee I think.
I’m starting to think this club purposely does shit for no other reason than it will piss DirtBall from TMB off. Fucking fucks. https://www.soundersfc.com/post/201...tates-international-mls-great-preki-assistant
Larin claiming his contract is over, club has 2 option years and plans to hold onto his rights and get paid. They made him sign a form saying he is aware of the option years and isn't allowed to leave.
Would require too many resources for a super sub imo. Would be fun though. I’d rather see them get a solid backup at CDM and shore up the back line.
