As the only TFC fan on this board I’ve already got my maple leaf embroidered red sport coat laid out for tomorrow.
We were recently talking about MLS TV coverage. ESPN is a partner with the league and the Sportscenter following the league semi-finals has the following rundown. World series highlights A couple October NBA highlights Barcelona highlights NFL trade rumors
In all fairness, anyone that enjoys the sport should be subjected to these Messi highlights World Series What Messi did in this game MLS playoffs Whatever
Nice to be able to get back on the bandwagon, even if it’s still for a few weeks. TFC had no business being in this game.
There’s a lot to play around with in here https://www.optasportspro.com/static/98-2019-season-review.html
#TBT (saw on r/mls) Spoiler It’s crazy to think there was a time when Sporting actually made the playoffs,
MLS is locked in for 29 teams in the next few years, with a bunch of cities still trying to get team. at what point does it become unsustainable for one league and could we be seeing the foundations being laid for a pro/rel system? just kidding I know the answer to that is never, but there has to be a limit on how many teams they can maintain.
The Sounders don’t have the fan support to get their own stadium so MLS cup date and time get to be determined by the Seahawks. Spoiler Pretty sure they planned a week break so both teams could rest. Better than an international break in the middle of the playoffs.
