Getting Zheng into the fold seemed to be the final piece for Phoenix. Also not putting the club out in the middle of nowhere should be a big plus.
If you want to get into mls you need a rich owner and a stadium plan completely locked down. Having a built in fanbase is nice but it’s not getting you through without the two above things. I think everyone knows MLS isn’t stopping at 28 so it’s really just a battle to see who gets all their shit together earliest between Phoenix, Detroit, St Louis, San Diego, Sacramento and whoever else has interest.

Spelling his name wrong while cursing them just adds effect. This is the first positive thing the family has done to make you understand your error.
Ha, looks like Carlos Vela was trying to arrange a hook up in Guadalajara and the “girl” he was chatting up on Instagram ended up calling him out and roasting him pretty good, she also happened to be a “he” as well.
Officially renewed as a 2019 Columbus Crew STH. Wasn’t planning on it with just buying a house but after Friday I had to
Sucks if true. Dude should of been a star in this league but he was stuck up in no mans land Montreal
I'm really happy for Rooney. His last couple years in England he looked like he wasn't even having fun playing anymore at times, but he came in and immediately made himself a part of the team, pretty much single handedly turned them into a playoff team, and all his teammates seem to love the shit out of him.
Men in Blazers had a clip of their interview with him earlier in the week. Cool listen, seems like he just wants to be another guy and not treated like a superstar.
Bye bye Tata and Miggy http://www.espn.com/soccer/atlanta-...o-martino-to-take-mexico-job-after-mls-season
RB somehow not down, but might be up a man to start the 2nd half. ATL midfield looking less than so far in their match.
Outside backs for ATL also going with the bold strategy of letting players dribble past them and putting in balls at the touchline.
Big props to MLS playing these Leastern conference games as the opening act for the far superior Bestern conference headliners. Just genius marketing.
That's why it never pays to cheat. Ball was going to hit him anyway. Didn't think it was egregious, but still no reason to have them extended at all.
If they had a player like David Accam they’d be deadly... Their midfield is really smart and really technical. Great spacing passing and movement. Baird coming on towards the end of the year was huge in their run and Ilsinho can dribble through anything.
