I honestly think this game will be a good one. I thought COD4 was amazing, and MW2 sucked dick. The single player was a roller coaster ride, but the online was flawed. I know everyone loves have a shit ton of options but they should limit the killstreaks and focus more on weapon and character customization. The maps should be set up in a way that people who want to camp and those who dont want to can work together. Most importantly they should have a FUCKING BETA. Too many glitches were found because they were too full of themselves. They know they have to step it up. The engine should be modified and the game should be perfect. They cant slip up or else Battlefield will start to take serious market share.
yea you pretty much nailed it. I think it's too early to tell if it'll be a good game. IW have been good at finding that middle ground when they create maps. In BO sniping was almost impossible all the maps where designed for run and gun and nothing else. AND GET THE GOD DAMN AKIMBO THE FUCK OUT OF THE GAME!!!
I'm a sucker for COD games, I've owned all of them since COD2 (the main ones that is).. and I will probably get this too. With that being said, Battlefield 3 will be much better.
I agree, people fail to notice that if they prolly took out the Nuke there would have been alot less camping. I think they should maybe max the killsteaks out at 9 to prevent the 12 year olds from just sitting in one spot the entire time.
Campers should start to show up on radar if they stay in an area too long, like that area of the map should start to turn yellow, then orange, then red. Not a dot like UAV, just a cloudy area where the bitch is sitting.
I think I'm the only person that buys COD games for the single player. After playing counter strike, console multiplayer fps suck
MW2 was the best game I've ever played online. What other game could I get 150+ kills without going over 10 deaths half the time? Seriously though other than commando, and OMA + noob tubes MW2 wasn't that bad (unless you sucked and got spawn raped). You could snipe on all the levels or you could run and gun. I could sit and play that game by myself for hours without getting bored. On Black Ops, I won't even touch it unless a select group of people are on.

Not for just the traditional online itself but I think it said they will be offering "extra services" that will benefit players and will be charging for that (which sounds lame as fuck) and then there is the traditional map packs that they shove down people's throats for $12.99
they haven't announced anything about them yet, just said that they will cost extra and will "improve the way players play online", but the online multiplayer will still be free of charge

RIOT Sheilds are fucking awesome. Gotta be a baller to use those things. If they get rid of some of the perks, kills streaks earning you other kill streaks, akimbos, quick scoping, and other lame ass shit this game will be fun. Addition by subtraction IMO.
they have already confirmed that last stand, juggernaut and stopping power (i believe) are not going to be in MW3
