Given what others have said about hydration, doesn’t seem like a great idea.
Just got shot 1 of Pfizer and currently in the observation period. Was super quick at CVS.
Got mine today too. We can go out together just like Thelma and Louise.
I’ve got some depositions tomorrow. So hopefully it’s not too bad
I'm getting that sweet J&J action tomorrow morning
super excited to wash my hair with my eyes open for the next year
Another April 5th Pfizer bro checking in
I got a 45-minute Kendall ride in this morning before my shot just in case I wasn’t up for it afterward. I’m about five hours post vax now and feeling good.
I’m not going to run this evening, but think I’m going to go for about an hour walk around the neighborhood. Good to hear.
worked out right afterwards when I got mine. Arm didn’t hurt until later that night.
I drank a lot but I didn’t have work or anything to do next day
Add another one to the list. Got mine at a Walmart Neighborhood Market half a mile from my place. #2 going in on the 26th.
2 hours post and I feel totally fine. Gonna get a ride in here shortly.
If you PR, you have that sweet Pfizer juice to thank.
As of 4/5, J&J for life.
My wife with lupus and kidney disease got her second today. So freaking pumped for her.
Is the second shot automatically 3 weeks out through Walmart? That puts my second the day before I move which would not be ideal.
Walmart or wherever doesn't have anything to do with it. The lady just asked if the 26th worked for me and if so what time and we just agreed on one that worked for me. I could've asked for a day or whatever later I suppose but didn't need to in my situation.
Got an appointment for my fiancee and I on Wednesday.
Mine was through the county, and I didn’t have an option.
Yeah we going through the Dept of health
If you receive a vaccine that requires two doses, you should get your second shot as close to the recommended interval as possible. However, your second dose may be given up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first dose, if necessary
i’m sure they’d let you reschedule
You can schedule it for later. Ideally you’d want to get your second Pfizer shot at 21 days but you can do it within like 42 days.
Well looks like someone else beat me
2nd day of Pfizer 2 was awful but that was the only issue besides some arm soreness between the 2 shots. Whoever said it was a flu clone was correct
Joining Team Pfizer on Wednesday, finally.
Walgreens scheduled my second Pfizer dose 4 weeks after the first one.
And for the record, it’s a 28-day wait period for the second dose of Moderna.
Morning after, just a sore arm like any other shot would be.
I got mine at CVS yesterday and second was scheduled for 21 days after.
Same and it's even barely noticeable as sore in my experience
I read Walgreens was doing that because they do both Pfizer and moderna and it’s simply easier to schedule 4 weeks for everyone. I think you can move it up if you want but 4 weeks for Pfizer is supposedly fine
Arm is a little sore this morning but that’s about it. My wife feels like she was run over by a bus.
From what I heard it’s just you can’t get the second shot too early. So if you wait a week after your able to get your second shot you’re fine, you just can’t get it before.
Agreed. And I think that’s also why Walgreens did it that way. Just easier for them
Getting 5G today!
the search function sucks, what are J&J side effects of it?
Fwiw on the 2nd dose discussion, mine is scheduled for 21 days out, but the lady told me I could come in +/- 4 days if my schedules didn’t align.
I had some bad chills for a couple hours, some minor aches and pains. Lasted about 9 hours and set in about 12 hours after injection.
I'm not a doctor or scientist, but everything I've been told by doctors or read indicates that you should definitely wait the full proscribed period, because the second shot acts to stimulate your immune response so you want the initial shot to have fully worked as intended before doing that.
Yeah, this is my plan. Just relaying what was said.
Hey me too
Completely variable depending on the individual. That seems to apply for all the shots.
I’m a whole 5 minutes in and it was pretty tough going in but so far super fine
For some reason I had to wait almost 6 weeks between doses of Moderna.
Ahh fuck already got the 5G
I fucking hate needles. 5 hours to go. I better get a damn lollipop.
surprised at the lack of j&j ITT. I must have gotten lucky. I booked it last week and said I was over 40 but we opened eligibility to all yesterday.
Dude it’s nothing. You barely feel anything.
I didn't even know a damn needle was put into my arm to be honest.
Eligibility was opened to all in Colorado on Friday, getting my J&J tomorrow
