I'm getting that sweet J&J action tomorrow morning super excited to wash my hair with my eyes open for the next year
I got a 45-minute Kendall ride in this morning before my shot just in case I wasn’t up for it afterward. I’m about five hours post vax now and feeling good.
I’m not going to run this evening, but think I’m going to go for about an hour walk around the neighborhood. Good to hear.
Add another one to the list. Got mine at a Walmart Neighborhood Market half a mile from my place. #2 going in on the 26th.
Is the second shot automatically 3 weeks out through Walmart? That puts my second the day before I move which would not be ideal.
Walmart or wherever doesn't have anything to do with it. The lady just asked if the 26th worked for me and if so what time and we just agreed on one that worked for me. I could've asked for a day or whatever later I suppose but didn't need to in my situation.
If you receive a vaccine that requires two doses, you should get your second shot as close to the recommended interval as possible. However, your second dose may be given up to 6 weeks (42 days) after the first dose, if necessary
You can schedule it for later. Ideally you’d want to get your second Pfizer shot at 21 days but you can do it within like 42 days. Well looks like someone else beat me
2nd day of Pfizer 2 was awful but that was the only issue besides some arm soreness between the 2 shots. Whoever said it was a flu clone was correct
I read Walgreens was doing that because they do both Pfizer and moderna and it’s simply easier to schedule 4 weeks for everyone. I think you can move it up if you want but 4 weeks for Pfizer is supposedly fine
From what I heard it’s just you can’t get the second shot too early. So if you wait a week after your able to get your second shot you’re fine, you just can’t get it before.
This Fwiw on the 2nd dose discussion, mine is scheduled for 21 days out, but the lady told me I could come in +/- 4 days if my schedules didn’t align.
I had some bad chills for a couple hours, some minor aches and pains. Lasted about 9 hours and set in about 12 hours after injection.
I'm not a doctor or scientist, but everything I've been told by doctors or read indicates that you should definitely wait the full proscribed period, because the second shot acts to stimulate your immune response so you want the initial shot to have fully worked as intended before doing that.
I fucking hate needles. 5 hours to go. I better get a damn lollipop. surprised at the lack of j&j ITT. I must have gotten lucky. I booked it last week and said I was over 40 but we opened eligibility to all yesterday.
