I did :(
I know it’ll pass, but really surprised I feel like this. Never have side effects
vaccines man. Like the flu shot you don’t know how you’ll react.
In the waiting period in the car we got the Moderna vaccine
my experience was good. in and out of the place in less than 20 minutes and that included the 15 minute waiting period. feeling pretty lethargic though
Microchip gets upgraded in 23 hours.
4/20 2nd dose for me too. May need to go the Cornelius Suttree route this time
J&J Fauci Ouchie Complete.
Officially Team Pfizer
Yeah I've got some muscle tenderness and feel drained we all took a nap and my fiancee woke us all up wheezing took her rescue but couldn't stop coughing or wheezing so being safe. She has really bad asthma, and has to have breathing treatments a few times a month. I am treating this like she had a severe reaction.
Pfizer'd up today
some of it might just be stress related and people overthinking it
It was not my first choice but I am #teammoderna
The UK is now advising healthy people under 30 to wait on alternatives to the AstraZeneca vaccine as a link to blood clots has been solidified. Still very rare (68 known instances) so they are still advising older people or those with comorbidities to get it. All we have here is the AZ. I was kinda bummed about having to wait a bit on it (only available to 60+, healthcare workers and comorbidities), but now that maybe doesn't seem like the worst thing.
It was indeed a severe reaction for my fiancee but got her some breathing treatments at the ER. Now we know for her second shot in a month.
First dose of Pfizer in
J&J shot yesterday, and holy shit last night was BRUTAL.
Around 9 last night I started to feel some aches and pains, fever kicked in, and it was just a brutal night. Around 3am, fever broke and everything started to ease off a bit. Woke up this morning, still feeling a little sore and lethargic, but the worst is definitely over.
I feel much better today. Physically I’m 95% better. Arm is still sore but that’s nothing. Some cold sweats on and off but I think tomorrow I’ll be back to normal.
J&J scheduled for Monday
I haven't been sick in like 3 years, really hope this isn't me.
Everyone I have known has had those side effects word for word and timing too. Including myself.
Plan to not work Tuesday
pfizer #1 today
I had the same experience when I got my j&j
Pfizer gang checking in
No matter how much I drink, I can’t get hydrated
switch to bourbon
my arm is beyond sore. i can barely lift it above my head. that's never happened with flu shots or other vaccines before.
the second shot is going to kill me. can't wait for it.
Starting to be me. Got mine yesterday. Now I’m wide awake in the middle of the night and find myself peeing non stop. Don’t feel bad at all though but def not my norm.
Got my J&J shot yesterday around noon. Started feeling like shit right as I was going to bed and had the worst nights sleep I can remember. Woke up this morning with a fever and my whole body sore. Took some ibuprofen and feeling a little better but took the day off work
I made fun of my wife for being achey as we went to bed. I woke up like 3 hours later freezing with full body shivers. Took 4 blankets to warm up. Fell back asleep once the tylenol kicked in.
I was nervous that my fiancée was going to be feeling fine when we woke up and this would give her the opportunity to give me shit. thankfully she is also feeling shitty
Got that 2nd Pfizer inside of me. Tom is good
Feels good to have just joined The Moderna Family. The Triumvirate of Fauci, Dolly and Coachman might be more impressive than either Roman Triumvirate.
They didn’t warn me that double posting was a possible side effect
Same here. At least it's predictable.
People who have the virus have tremendously different reactions.
getting j&j on monday. after reading this thread, cant say im all too excited.
Today is the 14th day after my second shot. I am now invincible.
Drink it, you pussy
You may have a rough 24 hrs but you're fine after that
It's pretty miserable while you're in it but it passes reasonably quickly.
And it's better than a week+ of covid misery
Sitting in line at the drive vaccination site to get shot #2 and become a full member of the Pfizer Pfam. Big crowds today compared to shot #1.
Y’all should be taking Tylenol PM before you go to bed after getting your shots.
My wife got J&J 5 weeks ago and I got it 4 weeks ago. Neither of us had any side effects of any kind. My sister and mother got it a few days after us and had minor to moderate side effects for 24-36 hours. YMMV I guess.
Second shot didn't bother me but I laid out of work next day anyway
