It's not related to the US Monsterverse, but it's the best Godzilla movie I've ever seen. Really glad I caught it in the theater.
We recently went back and watched the monster verse movies we had missed and then started this. Agreed with what everyone said. Pretty fun, slow in the middle, writing was hilariously bad in some parts and the acting didn’t do much to help it out. Wife and I were wondering if some of it was done during the strike.
Dubbed or subtitles? I tried watching the previous with subtitles and it was tough. I was also fairly high.
man, I love that movie although it's more about the bureaucracy of a natural disaster more than godzilla, but it's really good
Finally got through the end of it tonight. It is really annoying that we had to sit through that entire May back story and none of it mattered in the slightest in the end. What a waste. In the end that seems like a lot of money wasted to tell a story just to answer one or two questions no one was asking for a bad story plot in a movie that already came out.
Had been a while since i had seen any of the movies, but after rewatching them before the new movie, this show introduced a lot of plot holes
So there was no time dilation in the GodzillaxKong movie, so basically this show can’t be cannon to the Monsterverse movies.
Something tells me a world with 400’ monsters coming through a portal from a subterranean world where giant gorillas forge huge weapons and such can play fast and loose with details like this
I was thinking of that as well. My guess is they say with the new ships and man made portals they say they can control where they enter/leave the time stream like Endgame.
Did snowfx2 hook you from the MCU thread? It’s a good show, my kid is a Godzilla nut, insane Japanophile, we’ve watched this a few times.
