How long do I/we keep him in the starting lineup? I mean, I'm still 2-0 but he could have hurt me with his 0 points this week. I really want to wait him in out in hopes that he gets it going...

How long do we wait? I know he didn't get going until week 3 last year, or that's what I read anyway,

Should I pick up Fred Davis from the Skins or Sheffler from the Lions as a backup? I have Mercedes Lewis now but he doesn't have Garrard and he's hurt.

    :idk: what to do here...

My backup tight end is Gronkowski, but Gates has gotten the start both weeks. Not next week.

Stay with Gates unless you can package him with an RB or WR to upgrade one of those spots.

If you do want to pick up a guy, Davis is a good choice. Cooley is still banged up and Rex obviously loves Fred Davis.

Either way, there's no reason to have Marcedes Lewis on your roster if he's not your #1 TE. You can pick up some other random TE for Gates' bye week. Try and find a lottery ticket backup RB or a WR that's about to blow up (e.g., I picked up Eric Decker last week)

Alright, so I'm dropping Mercedes Lewis for Fred Davis. I get him off waivers Wed.

I'm not getting rid of Gates in a trade because my team is solid right now and I can afford to wait him out. My team has carried the dead weight enough to not worry just yet.

    Thanks for the suggestion.

Does Danny Woodhead have any value at this point? Green-Ellis has been the primary back this year so far... Too soon to drop the midget?

don't give up on Gates yet, once he gets going, he'll be a big time producer

Don't think Woodhead has much value, depends on how deep you are at RB and how much improvement you need at other positions.

I have Best and Forte starting with Addai on the bench. Addai had a decent game yesterday but sucked week 1.

My WR's are strong so I have a WR in my flex. Andre Johnson, Maclin, and Britt. Meachem and Jordy Nelson on the bench.

Brees at QB. Cam on the bench.

I wish I had another RB. I don't know who is a possibility to pick up.

well you've got some options. Think you need to improve at RB. Love Forte though, have him in 3 leagues.
You could package Gates/Davis and Addai to upgrade at RB if you get Davis off waivers.

    That's an option.

Thought about dropping Woodhead for Helu on the Redskins. I think he takes that job soon. He had a good week last week.

I really don't want to trade Gates. I'd try to package Davis/Addai for a solid 3rd option RB. Doubt I'd get any takers unless Gates was in the deal. :idk:

A Jordy Nelson/Addai package? Is that worth anything iyo?

I snatched up Jordy Nelson after week 1. He was kind of my pick to be there in bye weeks. Last year I was quick to snatch up stevie johnson and mike williams (tb he had a good year last year for the most part).

I just need to get another RB in the fold. If not, an injury(knocking on wood currently) really kills me. Best hasn't exactly been a durable RB. :ohnoes:

yeah not sure if you'd get any bites on that unless Gates were in there, but you never know.

I have Cam Newton sitting on my bench bc Brees is my starter.

I have three trade proposals from someone that wants Cam, but IMO, the offers are shit.

    Julio for Cam
    James Starks for Cam
    Daniel Thomas for Cam

Am I wrong for laughing these off as I reject them?

The James Starks proposal is legit. I know Cam has played well the first two weeks, but is he ever going to unseat Brees as your team's starter?

    I'm back for more help.

After starting out 2-0, I am now 2-4

Gates, Britt, Johnson, Addai, Best have all fucked me good in some sort of fashion... Several killed me while in the game.

    So now I am starting:

    QB- Brees
WR- Jordy Nelson (only other option)
WR- Heyward-Bey (No Johnson or Britt, and Maclin is on a bye)
    RB- Forte
    RB- Choice (Best is out)
    TE- Pettigrew
    FLEX- Maurice Morris
    K- Bryant ATL
    DEF- Pittsburgh

    Bench

Cam Newton, I never got an offer worth a fuck. The guy ended up dropping Starks the next week, but someone else was higher on the waiver order.
    Andre Johnson, out
Antonio Gates, not playing until I see it. Pettigrew has been solid enough :idk:
    Maclin, bye week
    Best, out
    Meachum

    How fucked am I?
