Would it be possible to pull into the parking lot and purchase a ticket for a later show and then leave for a couple hours and return later for your show?
What was your level of familiarity with The Room before going to see it? Saw Lady Bird last night (with Moviepass), liked it way more than I thought I would.
Yes, once you check in you have ten minutes to purchase your ticket, but it doesn't have to be for the very next show
My wife and I got cards Wednesday. Saw Murder on the Orient Express last night. I was surprised the card worked for the Cinebistro. Going to go see Star Wars tonight.
Yeah I know, I just figured since it won't work for 3D movies, which cost more, it also wouldn't for the Cinebistro since it does too.
I've been wearing Moviepass out this week. I've seen Star Wars twice, Jumanji, Ferdinand, Molly's Game and just saw The Shape of Water. I plan on seeing Darkest Hour and The Disaster Artist over the next two days.
I am seriously considering buying this thing. But recently have been working out a bunch and if I buy this we all know that goes away.
Just got back from using MP on All the Money in the World. Movie was alright but ran longer than it needed.
Can I check in for a standard movie and then purchase a 3D or IMAX movie? Is it sophisticated enough to know the price differential for any given movie theater?
No you'll just have to pay the difference. Check in for a standard movie and you'll get $10 or so on your card. When you go to the teller, let them know you have a gift card worth ten dollars and that you'll pay the difference. She'll swipe MP card and then you pay the rest.
Who knew there was a thread about this? Just got the MP for Christmas and have used it twice. Good to know that you can use it for Imax/3D and just pay the difference.
For the record, this is a violation of the terms and conditions. Would the catch you? Not sure how it works other than they see the total deducted.
I've had it for years and never had any problems. The only time this came into question was when they starting making you take a picture of your stub. Obviously, they don't do that anymore so it shouldn't be an issue.
Looks like the charge for the "$6.99 per month" option just came through my bank account a couple days ago. Ballin'
I mean they put the ticket price on the card and you pay that amount. How can they see that you paid the rest of the money with another payment option?
I have no clue how their system works but it is against their ToS. Just wanted to put that out there so the new users didn't think that's how the system worked.
Yeah my comment came off a little passive aggressive. I just ate a whole thing of jelly beans and now I'm feeling better.
I got my card in the mail Tuesday night. Just in time for a showing of the room last night. Everything worked great. Card paid 13 bucks and I have to give them like 39 cents. Going to have to start keeping a few ones in my pocket for this purpose.
Someone at my work told me that you don't need to have the physical card/pass anymore. When I go online all I see is that your pass will be mailed to you in a couple of weeks. Do I still have to wait for my card to be delivered before I can see all the movies?
