Do they try to make it seem like "aw shucks, government works if we just smile and treat each other ok!" Cause that's the cringeworthy reaction I had to the preview
I've been hesitant to dip my toes into the show. So many of these types of mockumentary/sitocm shows can have such rough season 1's. So yall would recommend? My favorites are Parks and Rec and The Good Place
It’s a Tina Fey/Robert Carlock show so 30 Rock, Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt and Great News are more appropriate comparisons. It’s also not mockumentary. I think it’s worth the watch. The jokes are there, it just needs to find more solid footing with regard to plotting.
started this last night and cranked out 4 eps. enjoying it. not sure about the two aides but Danson, Hunter, and Moynihan are great.
They both get funnier in the last five episodes. I don’t think their characters are fully hashed out yet
