Just thought I'd do this so people who didn't follow it could see a bunch of great games. Post E3 wishlist: Dead Island (rent?) Battlefield 3 (buy) FIFA 12 (buy) Mass Effect 3 (buy) Star Wars Kinect (just want to demo this) Twisted Metal (wait for a friend to buy) Uncharted 3: Drake's Deception (buy) Assassin's Creed Revelations (buy about 40 copies) Batman: Arkham City (buy) Tomb Raider (rent) Bioshock Infinite (torn on this now)
Uncharted 3 Battlefield 3 Assassin's Creed Revelations Definite buys for me. Really trying to cut back on buying games though. I want Skyrim but will probably not get it, same goes for a bunch of other games. I hardly ever play what I do buy so I need to make sure it's a game I want to sit all the way through and finish (such as Uncharted because they are fucking awesome). Still haven't beaten AC Brotherhood..
Skyrim looks sick, but I think Infinite is going to be special. Supposedly when they release the private demo that was shown at E3 we will be blown away with it.
I can't decide on Infinite either. I enjoyed the original Bioshock but don't know whether I want to spend $60 on Infinite.
I thought I read awhile back the new Bioshock is actually another game they made, they are just going to tweak it and make it part of the series. The game was not made with Bioshock in mind. Any truth to this?
I don't think so. Pretty sure this game was planned as a Bioshock. It's supposed to be like final fantasy in the sense that they aren't connected but share similar themes to previous games. Like look at the relationship between Elizabeth and song bird to be relatable to that of the big daddies and little sisters, the use of plasmids, and creative environments
bioshock is my favorite video game ever. looking at bioshock infinite, and hearing/seeing the interviews with ken levine, bioshock infinite looks everybit as good. that man is on another level. only thing that may give bioshock the edge is the andrew ryan scene
