I mean, atleast give me a voice over update from the track going into or coming out of the commercials All we get are scroll across the bottom that it's delayed
Got to imagine nascar coverage is light on Bluesky. Really only need Bob Pockrass, that man is a machine.
My not very extensive list of accounts that sometimes do nascar posting: https://bsky.app/profile/did:plc:ocqbif733lqgdklt2h3wp77b/lists/3liddackoss25
I can not fathom the amount of Busch light that has been consumed in Daytona in the last 5 hours during this delay.
Cousin and her husband + their 20 yr old kid and bf from Pensacola stayed with us last night and left at about 7:30 this morning to head down there. Haven't heard from them in hours. I assume they'll come back here tonight bc driving back to Pensacola after today would suck.
Going to a race like the 500 seems like it'd be a lot of fun if the majority of the people you were there with weren't problematic to be around
Used to be our family vacation growing up. Did Disney, universal, and then speed week. lotta good people watching for sure.
I went at age 11, 2002, sterling marlin pulled his fender under red. Jimmie Johnson’s rookie year pole. Will always remember that. Did Disney and Canaveral space center, too.
my friend who is there said the lower level was basically out of food by the time it went back green.
Seems exhausting tbh. I almost took my son to wilkesboro completely last minute last year because it’s less than a hour from here, but then it started raining. That tiny track and tiny grandstands seems much more my speed.
I went to 5 Dega races in college albeit taken care of by my friend's dad and his motor home. So many good stories and the people watching was amazing. I went to the first LA Coliseum race and it was just as good with the people watching.
(Not a NASCAR guy) Why are the driver’s numbers slanted both directions, why not consistently one way?
To be fair Joey tried to put his car in a space that was absolutely never going to work after the initial block
He can't slow down lol. He chose his like, Stenhouse just tried to block late and wrecked half the field. Once the bumped like that, there's going to be a wreck.
I think even back in 2022 I would’ve avoided RFK and gone with literally anything else The team was originally Roush Racing and was renamed Roush Fenway Racing in 2007 when John W. Henry and the Fenway Sports Group became co-owners and RFK Racing in 2022 when Brad Keselowski became a co-owner.
Fun fact, my company got its start doing aero CFD for nascar. We still do a little but it’s mostly been supplanted by DoD work. That was a crazy aero environment right there where you could see the cars center of pressure get into a weird spot.
