Yep blue and orange for ford and chevy obviously, and red for Toyota

 

Orange and red are too similar imo

 

Yeah, if they do this again, they should give Toyota white yellow or green

 

Having said that, I'm a fan. Makes it easier to just root against the blues.

 

Not crazy about the orange. Makes those cars look like the back is on fire.

 

I think lights should go with paint scheme for these races.

or future night races in playoffs the playoff drivers could have lights

 

Sucks lights are only off the back too, the promo pics showed them full underbody.

 

Just let team decide on light color based on car wrap. The manufacturer stuff is dumb. There’s enough other branding to know who is driving what.

Are the NASCAR Heat games fun? Just more for casual person who used to like track-based racing games. I don't think I've played a nascar game since Papyrus made them for PC but was interested in giving one a shot. Are there major differences between the newest one and older ones?

 

I had the first one(evolution) and it wasn't great. I also got the 3rd one and it was better. I think they can be fun but they could also be A LOT better than they are

 

I think I saw 5 just released. I bought 4 a few months ago when it was on sale. I randomly play it, but just against the cpu. I tried it online and lol those guys are goooood. They all customize every piece of the setup and just blow your stock car out of the water. You're going 190 and they're going 210. I checked Youtube and there's videos on how to do it but you have to do it for each type track and was just more than I wanted to mess with. So yea if you're just wanting casual play, it's fun. Just avoid online.

 

I got heat 4 and a wheel back at thanksgiving. It’s hard, but I would say it’s in line with any general racing game. You can make it as easy or hard as you like.

edit: didn’t realize 5 was out. They typically do September release around the start of playoffs. Looked like that game out early July.

 

This is pretty much my post-having-kids gaming life in a nutshell.

 

I have 4 and really like it. I haven't done any online racing though because I don't have a wheel and some of those guys are hardcore.

 

The wheel is the way to go but I have so far not been able to rationalize a $300+ purchase on one

Hendricks has a bunch of quality options, just none that are super splashy.

Ya I was thinking SHR if they ever thought bowyer was too old and unproductive. Almirola has been decent this season right?

 

I saw where Bubba was offered a % of the company to stay but said he's looking at all options. Where is he going?
