Cornelius Suttree i assume you were a fan of Johnell Thomas? My gf recently started working with him and said he's just an awesome guy.
I can't find the Orlando newspaper article I'm thinking of but this pretty much conveys what I was thinking of http://www.chattanoogan.com/2012/10/16/236435/Roy-Exum-The-Vandy-Captains-Tale.aspx My dad had him in class at the undergrad and masters level and just loves him
Perfume Genius at Exit/In 5/21. Tickets on sale 2/17 at 9 AM MT One of the good things about the Bonnaroo lineup being so weak is that tons of great shows should be taking place in town 60 days before and after it takes place

rebranded mad donnas is closing http://nashville.eater.com/2017/2/14/14616066/wylees-former-mad-donnas-closed-nashville who could've guessed
Stapelton's new tour isn't coming to Nashville. That sucks, I don't want to go to Birmingham or Southaven, MS.
Stole the idea from the firearms thread, but now that the weather is getting nicer we (well all of us that enjoy shooting firearms) should get together and do a big shoot. I know there's the big outdoor range in Clarksville that's like $10 to shoot all day but I'm sure there are others closer. I've got 2 ARs a 1911 and a 9mm I could bring to the party.
Freakin Weekend 8 will take place March 9-11. It'll be the final installment of this incredible event Confirmed so far are Diarrhea Planet, Hoops, Jacuzzi Boys, Pujol, Daddy Issues, Music Band, Golden Pelicans and Ranch Ghost If you live in Nashville and have never seen Diarrhea Planet live, shame on you. Take advantage of this opportunity to see them in what will surely be one of the wildest concerts the US will see in 2017. Exact dates/time/location TBA
What is Freakin Weekend and what kind of music is that? I'll go listen to just about anything if it's a good show.
It's the best local music event in town. The folks at Nashville's Dead have been putting it on since 2010 but have struggled to handle all the logistics since their founder, Ben Todd, killed himself a couple years ago. It has attracted some incredible lineups over the years and is always an amazing time with tons of hot young women on hand
Ok well tell what kind of music I'll be enjoying? I'm scared to type some of those names into google at work lol. For the record I've been to some punk, hard core metal, rap, country, mainstream, etc shows. I'll enjoy just about any live show if the music is good and the crowd is fun.
Stayed with my GF's friends in Franklin which, while cheap, was not ideal. Got in Saturday afternoon and went to Old Glory for drinks. Then we were meeting some friends in Midtown and killed some time at Kung Fu. Not authentic Nashville but not a bad place to kill an afternoon. Tried to go to Patterson House for dinner but were too hungry for the wait so ended up eating at Tavern. Had brunch at Sinema on Sunday morning. Girlfriend's friends were PISSED because apparently they just changed their brunch menu yesterday from traditional to an all-you can eat flat fee. I didn't mind - It wasn't the best but they had fresh pressed Cubans/Reubens and an Omelette station. Went and walked around 12 south so the girls could get their instagrams. Had a Fluffy Monkey coffee and Las Paletas. Walked around Centennial Park with the girlfriend then went back to meet my friend who lives in Germantown and had drinks on the patio at Butcher Town Hall, which was great ($3 local beers on Sunday afternoon). I really loved Germantown. Went to Pinewood Social for dinner/drinks that evening. Food was pretty good and I had one of my favorite cocktails ever. Yesterday woke up and tried to go to Radnor Lake for a hike because highs were in the mid 70s. Nope/10. Absolutely packed, cars waiting in line to park. Just did a lap around that park in the 12 south area and grabbed Martin's before heading out of town. Ended up doing a hike just outside Chattanooga on the way back instead. Overall great weekend Nashville, your restaurants are trendy and your moms are young as shit. Will visit again, please roast my weekend appropriately. Okay cool.
Tried Franklin Rd. first, there were about 7 cars in line for a spot. Turned around and tried the other entrance and there were about 20 cars there. It was a cluster.
guys, next nice Sunday, go day drink at the Old Gas Station in the Nations. great patio, 2 for 1, plus they pull out a grill and smoke meat. do it
sounds good. Didn't eat Hot Chicken or do a night of bar hopping, but otherwise pretty solid. Also, it is Frothy Monkey, not Fluffy Monkey. NERD
Yours makes more sense. I've been to Nashville once for a wedding and once for a bachelor party. Got my Hatties and and bar hopping in on those trips.
I figured the Franklin Rd side would be less crowded. That's why I was asking. Going to try to make it back out there sometime soon.
Sad13 (Sadie from Speedy Ortiz) is playing with Stef Chura @ Drkmttr on March 8 fucking A that would be incredible M'ark Pepperonio
do you like seeing future Olympians in action? Then go to VU on Friday and Saturday to see the SEC Indoor Track & Field Championships for a schedule of events and breakdown of the top individual and team contenders, see the link below http://www.vucommodores.com/sports/w-track/spec-rel/022217aac.html in 2005 VU hosted the Outdoor Championships and that was one of the coolest things I have been to....Xavier Carter
http://m.huffpost.com/us/entry/us_58ac8833e4b06e5f777b293e? Fucking Marsha Blackburn scared to face the people she represents
Mae Beavers: are you my constituents?? TN GOP is such a fucking embarrassment to the human race Marsha's son Chad is such a lame piece of shit. I do not think I have ever seen him in a picture without a drink in his hand and a bowtie on
Louisiana Seafood is back open in the Boro and Nashville locations Time for some crawfish and oysters.
she has apparently been on CNN twice in the past couple days. Making false claims that the people at the town hall were not from her district I would love to hate fuck her
they're as talented as any team in the nation () so yeah the expectation is Omaha or bust. Some really young arms will need to play big roles but they are certainly capable. The death of Donny Everett last June was a huge blow to every VU fan emotionally but it also left a pretty big void to fill as he was a sure thing to be the #2 starter this year. How the pitching staff develops will be the key IMO got two guys who will be top five picks in this coming MLB Draft so just as much star power as folks have come to expect will be back in town in mid-April to celebrate my dad's retirement and heckle the shit out of Kevin O'Sullivan and UF. Can't wait
VU reminds me of Goergia, tons of talent with a couple of absolute studs..... except Vandy actually produces and develops their talent instead of oversigning year in and year out wasting one of the best talent pools in the country and getting by. Looking forward to spring
We finish our season here in town. It'll be good to see Bama baseball in person within walking distance of my apartment.
