concept and execution alone, this place will get my business. Some TSU grads open up a fast-casual pizza joint, looks fresh as fuck (not the food, the place) http://nashville.eater.com/2017/3/15/14931962/slim-and-huskys-interior-photos-nashville
who the fuck cares what he did when he was a kid? or even if he is a douche now. Don't deface other people's property. Pretty simple.
New Nashville and everyone it is attracting has dumped from 40-60k in equity into my house in 2 years and has me on track to possibly sell and be debt free and still keep a chunk of change in my pocket. Keep getting bigger Nashville, please.
I'm unfamiliar with old Nashville, but I'm content with sportsmans and the villager if I get the hankering to go out. I also know about 6-10 people in town that are almost always willing to play board games so I don't want for much. I'm lucky to live on the best street in Nashville and the climate of north central Tennessee is very close to ideal to me so I dig it.
West Meade is gorgeous to drive through but I'm a big walker and prefer smaller lawned neighborhoods to walk through
Germantown is the best neighborhood. I don't care about roads when I can walk to 5 top 10 restaurants in Nashville, get hammered, then walk home.
Yeah but you can't smoke inside and there's no easy hipster strange Also no juke boxes or pool tables (Different strokels for different locals I know)
bro there's plenty of basic bitches walking their dogs in Germantown, and occasionally you'll see one with non-prescription framed glasses
Yeah. But those are boujie "hipster" girls. The same kind you run into in Green Hills who rent $2500 lofts with dad's money. Essentially modified yuppies. They're not drunk and impressionable.
With how easy ubers are, I am not as concerned with being able to walk places for dinner, etc. I can be at any germantown restaurant in less than 10 minutes, 12 south in 10-15, east nashville in 20. Have multiple good groceries within a 5-7 minute drive and a pretty new publix is walking distance. Then, I am also able to sit on my back porch and see a deer at least once a week around dusk. Like Weimar said, different people value different things. I prefer to cook 4-5 nights out of the week, so I dont really care for walking distance restaurants, but having a grocery convenient is key. Bar scene isnt the best, but I am less than 5 miles from Neighbors and all the new nations bars
and you literally just described every girl in my apartment complex grad student at vandy/belmont nurse or law school Lexus/Audi SUV
I believe Bearded Iris is a veritable hipster hot spot at this point and they put in a pool table...but yea no one would consider Germantown the best neighborhood although I do like going there to eat.
someone ITT needs to meet me here on a Tuesday night to confirm it's cypher night aka a bunch of people on psychedelics trying to rap.. very "eclectic" crowd depending on the day/night I spend way too much time there
two of those are restaurants son. Not really a "bar" you can drink at any restaurant. Is Pepperfire a bar?
Haven't been to 312 or jack Browns. But Back corner is trying way to hard to be a "club." I've only been once, so maybe this isn't the norm, but it reminded me of the times I got dragged to Club Mai in college.
Went to local taco this past week while in Nashville. The Korean BBQ taco sucked more ass than I remember. Other than that, it was decent. I haven't lived or really spent a lot of time in Nashville for three years. Holy shit has it changed way more than I thought.
Also, I was cracking up at the trump hysteria in BNA today. People were all about seeing his plane land. Seeing Air Force one is cool and all, but seeing old people that stoked for 5 seconds of joy was hilarious.
Matthias Schwab is a VU men's golfer he's playing in the Arnold Palmer Invitational this weekend Scott Limbaugh for President
Nashville's own Will Wade would get me fired up could live with Archie Miller or Chris Holtmann too expecting the worst though, because that's how people raised as VU fans go through life
