One "hidden gem" in the gulch area is the bar called "UP". It's at the top of the fairfield inn on division. That patio game is strong as fuck and it is seldom as crowded as some of the other places.
If that's the "official" area then definitely don't hate all of the gulch. I misspoke earlier when I said Broadway. From Demonbreun to 11th just isn't for me. The outside of those 2 streets have some solid places to eat/drink.
I was more just messing with you. I knew M Street was considered the Gulch, but surprised how far East it goes. I dont love going to the M Street restaurants, location wise, but they are certainly worth it. Damn that looks awesome. Who would've thunk a Fairfield Inn would have that
Exactly what the fuck I said the first time I ran up there. A co worker of mine and I were looking for a place to grab drinks around that area and just randomly chose it. Uber dropped us off at the Marriott and we were skeptical hippo and all but I was thoroughly impressed when we got up top. Shit was awesome. Do me a favor though, don't broadcast it to the masses. I like the hidden gem status. Makes for a great surprise date place. http://uprooftoplounge.com/
I've done a couple young professional events at UP and their management is a complete shit show. Other than that, it's a fucking amazing place for a bar. Everything is fine except the insane view.
Burger Republic is one of my guilty pleasures in the Gulch. Most underrated hot wings in Nashville...
Everything in the gulch is closed right now besides bar loui... drunk tempura shrimp is not terrible but the gulch does not cater to drunk late night food (it's fucking ten this is my only option) can't wait to drop $100 on that new Chinese place by chuahan to get some dim sum... haters ball
Had some damage to the neighborhood the last two nights. A couple houses had fences blown out, one lost a ton of siding and had water damage inside and some shingles down throughout the area. Thankfully I seemed to avoid any of it. At least as of now.
Edley's is coming to Chattanooga too. I wanted to bring them here but someone beat me to it. It's better than any BBQ we have here. We did just get a Moe's BBQ, though and it's decent. I've been twice and there have been 10 or less ppl in there both times. They did a shitty job publicizing.
yeah, most people probably only consider the inner gulch the actual gulch. That area between division and demonbreun and between 11th and 12th. That area sucks
more windy city restaurants coming to Nash http://nashville.eater.com/2017/3/22/15024978/parsons-chicken-and-fish-wedgewood-houston-nashville

Nosebleeds to the Merle Haggard show on April 6 are $25 at the Bridgestone box office. $40 after fees on ticketmaster. Tough to turn that down when all other tickets are $100.
Speaking of Preds - I may need 2-4 tickets next Saturday. My dad has never been, and he mentioned wanting to go. If anyone has or knows someone that cant go because its a matinee, let me know.
I got to my car just as bottom fell out on Metrocenter. Wind was shaking my parked car. I pull up to gold rush, and its done.
Belmont women's basketball HC Cam Newbauer is headed to Florida for the same position nice pickup for the Gators
A friend of mine is moving to Mt Juliet with her family is I'm looking for job opportunities for her. She's been the editor of her hometown paper for the last however many years. I sent her some openings we had as content writer and things like that. She'd like to be in PR/community relations/communications but is cool with clerical/admin positions as well. Any of y'all have any openings like that?

Pilgrimage Fest lineup will be out next week or so. Is Sturgill on the card? Is that why he doesnt have a fall Nashville date? He plays Chicago Fri and Red Rocks that Monday.

Tim Corbin is one of the most incredible people alive I will never be around someone as amazing as him the rest of my life
We ate at Jack Brown's last night for the first time and was mildly impressed at the beer list and burger quality. Will enjoy again.
Got an email about this. Nashville is one of the only other cities listed that they do it - Nashville Nightmare Haunted House. http://zombieapocalypselive.com/ It looks fun as shit. Curious if anyone has done it before and was it worth the price? The place they're doing it here has a badass haunted house each year. If done right this kind of thing would be great, but not sure if it's worth $40
I was in Nashville from Wednesday through Friday for a conference at Opryland. That place is one of the weirdest places I've ever been. They were having a home schooling conference at the same time as ours, which just added to the weirdness. We didn't get to leave the premises until our way out of town, but I did have a hilarious text exchange with BIGASSTITTIES on where to eat lunch when we did leave. Me: Any good places in east Nashville for lunch that would have a vegetarian option? Partner I'm with doesn't eat meat. BIGASSTITTIES: Partner as in your gay lover?
