Come into a saturated market, offer nothing worthwhile, and close in a couple months. Crazy how that works
Vandy baseball started fall practice this past Friday. It runs through October 12 and is open to the public The team will be on the field at approximately 4:00 p.m. Tuesday-Friday and around 8:00 a.m. on Saturdays go out and watch some future major leaguers
#Kansas State Wildcats any of y'all coming to our wonderful city for the game this weekend? This means you GoodForAnother
wedding this weekend or i'd be in town. visited a couple weeks back instead methinks there will be a healthy amount of purple down there
Not going but we are expected to have between 10-15k there, I'm sure you'll find at least one cool person to talk to
I want to go so bad. http://www.nashvillescene.com/music...brown-band-and-joshua-hedley-head-underground
http://www.rawstory.com/2017/09/nas...move-her-porsche-then-left-him-to-die-police/ Anyone know this stripper/wannabe country music singer/trust fund kid that shot a homeless guy 2 times the other night and left the scene? Her lawyer daddy in Texas is selling self-defense hard. Who shoots at someone with their eyes closed as a 'warning shot' ?
if this place has green chili breakfast burritos, I am all in https://nashville.eater.com/2017/9/13/16302016/red-headed-stranger-east-nashville
photo updates of 51st Taproom. Looks like it'll be open soon https://www.facebook.com/51NorthTaproom/
I think he means because it's another giant "craft beer/tap room" establishment when they're already ubiquitous around the city.
Flying in tomorrow afternoon. Don't have a ton of plans for the weekend. Doing Grand Ole Opry Saturday night. Also plan on checking out Centennial Park sometime. oh and definitely am gonna get some hot chicken
I haven't been in forever because I don't care much about craft beer anymore but I remember their food being really solid
I have to sell my Kaleo tickets Tues Sept 19 - Ryman Lower level I think MF3 Row L seats 1-2 Row L is the in front of the post under the balcony.
That's the irony of new Nashville. There's nothing "new" about it. It's just copycat themes (without touching on downtown/Broadway): tall and skinny's, craft beer, craft cocktails, fusion cuisine, rinse, repeat.
At least it's not shitty chain places. They are gonna open what makes money. Unique or not I'll take what's going on over no growth.
Eh at a certain point it becomes not much different from chain restaurants when everyone is doing the same thing. But I understand what you mean. Don't get me wrong, I love the growth that has made it possible for places like HAIL, Melrose Billiards, Otaku, Sichuan Hot Pot, Bakersfield, Tin Dog, etc to stay in business or start up. However there are way more businesses popping up that are so copy and paste and contrived (Rosemary, Noble's on the east side come to mind) that you can't help but feel like they're polluting and diluting what makes areas of Nashville special or unique.
I like new things that are indicative of growth and diversity and not regressive and homogenizing a cool city.
apparently 2019 5* F James Wiseman transferred from Ensworth to Memphis East HS. Ricky Bowers getting a little taste of his own medicine is awesome sucks that you won't get to see Darius Garland vs Wiseman go at each other 2-3 times this winter though
Right, so you like some of the growth but not all of it. What a hot take. Plenty of things open that grow and benefit the city. Plenty doesn't, but then it fails (like FlipBurger).
Getting reports of huge numbers of people walking around in KSU gear. Heard the airport was packed with Cat fans #Kansas State Wildcats
Some friends got there last night. They're currently on Broadway. Looking forward to seeing dumbass snaps in a couple hours
We love our TMB bros. also I haven't been out in a long time and am probably going to drink way too much tonight.
