Didn't even think to check the thread because I'm an idiot but I was in town last week for a wedding. First time downtown. Broadway is nuts. Had wedding functions all weekend so hunting food down wasn't in the cards but had a great time getting tf out of honkey tonk and hearing some ill shit at the 5 spot on the east side, and Rudy's Jazz Room which is a great classic space. If I had more time would have liked to spend a whole night in Printer's but couldn't pull that off. Rehearsal dinner was in the bridge building. What a damn view.
So far the only one of those that's been enjoyable has been Blake Shelton's. Ot didnt seem like a typical Broadway spot. Granted we only went to the rooftop which had a much more restaurant vibe than dance club.
Really enjoyed ACME. Best venue, with varied music, and solid beer on tap... not to mention drinks were reasonably priced. Wish I had planned better & got tix to Bluebird Cafe. Wife would have loved that
They played pretty much the greatest hits they could fit in an hour Sweet Home Freebird Working For MCA Tuesdays Gone I Know A Little Saturday Night Special Call Me The Breeze Simple Man A couple more I’m forgetting. Set was only ~hour
It’s not really my scene. I don’t like the food really but it’s not a bad place overall. They manage to have a pretty diverse crowd it seems. I do think the bartender Nicole is awful pretty.
Neighbors took the place of that restaurant "Lulu" I really like Neighbors but they criminally under staff during the Stanley Cup Playoffs which is borderline unforgivable in Nashville these days.

what's a good hotel to stay at where I can walk and get to most of the bars I would want to go to? I'm in town for 2 nights, the first I want to stay downtown with my brother in law so we can go out drinking and then the next one we'll have to be at hotel like 40 min outside the city with our wives for a wedding. we're going to fly in on Thursday, hopefully drop off our bags at a place downtown, maybe hang out for a bit, then head to dinner near the wedding venue. the girls stay there that night because they're in the wedding and we figure why not head back to the city and see the sights since neither of us have been there.
I was looking yesterday and I noticed the prices were pretty high. I'm not going to stay at a Comfort Inn or anything, I'll probably look at a mid-level hotel around $400 a night.
It's still a red state unfortunately. But I like a former governor with a proven track records when it comes to odds
That’s step one. Step two is defeating Bill Lee, who you said not to vote for on primary day. Step 3 is getting Bredesen into congress and flipping congressional seats. Step 4 is winning local elections. Step 5 is pissing on your face.
Phil’s first ad is fantastic. Can’t wait for him to be Senator Bredesen. https://www.tennessean.com/story/ne...blicans-latest-ad-marsha-blackburn/897867002/
Hi yes. I'm a fan. (His son, Ben Bredesen, is the owner and founder of fat bottom brewery for those that didn't know that)
Tandy Wilson opening up a BBQ joint?!?!? https://nashville.eater.com/2018/8/7/17661118/tandy-wilson-mop-broom-mess-hall-germantown
Bill Lee's ads are so fucking shitty and pathetic. No policy, no substance just a bunch of supporting Democrats is evil, yea trump, fuck minorities Facebook sound bites. And cant forget the obligatory faith and 2nd ammendment plugs. I hope he gets leveled in the general.
Went to the downtown YMCA for the first time. They must have cologne/axe body spray stations in there or something.
