TMB Nashville Crew. Helping our out of town brethren get laid for years!
Wife says to check out Nashville Sweets in east Nashville. You can design and order online. The delivery fee in the city is extra 20 bucks but it is also a 5 min/less than 2 mile ride from downtown so you could also hit up the bars over there and pick up on your way back downtown. The cookies and cream cake is highly recommended. Happy BDay to Mrs Marcus!
Looks awesome — thank you!
I can vouch for this. Mrs. marcus will most definitely be begging you for butt stuff after this.
This is something that I can get...behind lolol
Where are you coming in town from? Also, is this trip for your wife's bday or something else and your wife's bday happens to occur while you will be here?
Flying in from Cleveland. It’s half and half, I guess. Her birthday is 3/8 and we’re there from 3/7-3/10. We got reservations at Husk for our group that’s night and we’re probably going to do 417 Union for breakfast because she loves the prime rib hash. Other than that, we’re up in the air for Thursday night and all day Saturday. No real plans.
Sean Brock opening a huge restaurant in East Nashville next winter
The project will include a podcast on Appalachia called Before It’s Too Late, an heirloom seed bank, an art program and a mindfulness center for Brock’s employees.
quite the project
Estimated 300k people downtown.
Those are the assholes that will ruin the scooters for the rest of us
I’m shocked we haven’t yet had a report of someone on these getting splattered by a car. Even more shocked one of those assholes driving the golf carts haven’t been T-boned with a cart full of people.
Record attendance tonight at 17,722?
Preds playing like shit lately. Constant turnovers in our zone are leaving the goalies out to dry.
Yeah, the last few minutes haven't been kind today.
Neither was last night
East Nashville essential dive bar The Edgefield Sports Bar & Grill has plans to close this summer, according to the Nashville Scene.
The beloved, smoke-filled watering hole has been an East Nashville staple since 1994, but owner Charlie “Buzz” Edens says he won’t look for a new location once his lease runs out this summer at 921 Woodland Street. Known for affordable drinks, bar food, pool tables, and darts, The Edgefield is one of the least pretentious and most enjoyable bars on the east side.
Local real estate investors McClain Towery and Elliott Kyle, alongside two silent business partners, created 921 Woodland Partners LLC to acquire the building and land where it sits in 2015 for $1.3 million. Owners told the Scene to expect some upgrades but that they plan to maintain “the essence of the business” with the future tenant.
Did you know this BIGASSTITTIES
I can't like this. Fuck... devastated. the Weimar Beer Belly did you know?
Yeah I’ve been hearing rumbling for awhile from people but no one had a date or time frame. It will be interesting to see where all of these kids end up because they all migrated to Edgefield from Foobar when it closed. Edgefield was close to closing around 3 years ago due to lack of business and then Basement East opened next door and Foobar closed. It was the perfect set of circumstances to turn Edgefield into the “beloved watering hole” it’s perceived as now. There hasn’t been a good bar open on the east side in awhile so I’m interested to see how this changes the existing bar scene.
Tell me about parking for the Parthenon, Pharmacy Burger and Bearded Iris? Should I expect to pay for parking at those locations?
God dammit, Preds
Fucking right?!? I'm starting to get nervous bout this team.
I should have went in design
Arvi now has 25 goals in 35 games. Leading the league in goals per game. So hot right now. Hopefully someone else besides he and Forsberg can figure out how to score soon.
new Hugh Baby's opened up in Berry Hill. god I miss that place
The one in 5 points is supposed to be open by end of May I heard
Mockingbird is good
They have churro waffles
Who are you
They shouldn’t have gone non smoking and “craft” beer/cocktail. They lost their entire identity.
Centennial is opening a 2nd concept in the Nations. Go support them. Awesome bar, awesome people
Do get annoyed at all these articles and tear shedding on social media crying about changing Nashville. Gold rush was affordable and historic and yet it was constantly empty when I would go from 2015-2018
See the Weimar Beer Belly 's post above
Ppl stopped going before the remodel. That’s no excuse
I disagree. As someone who used to hole up in there for happy hour 3-4 days a week... there was a noticeable, significant decline in patronage after the remodel. All of the boujie upgrades are killing a lot of good vibes. People don't hang on Elliston for craft cocktails and upscale dining. There's still a high demand for smoky, dirty, cheap bars... edgefield is doing the same shit.
I don’t think they make the change if the business was good. But anyway, I loved the happy hour there and I hope one of the music venues nearby saves it so I can still go when I visit.
With that and edgefield selling and closing, pretty brutal for historic dives. Hope some ppl step up and save one or both
Yeah... I'm all for progression in a city... the growth experienced in Nashville has been amazing to watch and be a part of... I just think I'm starting to get tired of the palate board walls and Edison bulb lighting everywhere I go as people try and make everything boujie as fuck.
Let’s say, hypothetically I was considering looking for a space in Nashville to do an upscale sportsbar that turns into a nightclub late on weekends.
Like a bottled blonde/Klutch type concept.
A. Is there a hole in the market for that currently?
B. Ideal area of town?
I’ve been to Nashville (brother went to school there) a lot but not for several years.
Also free drinks for any due diligence assistance.
