Decent, probably one of the better bbq joints in town.
Guys opening one in Charleston. Sounded alright
It's worth going to if you're in the mood for BBQ, but it won't blow you away or anything.
Theres a ton of good BBQ in Charleston but he's opening kind of away from most of it. Location should help
I like Martin's a lot but you never know how it will hold up to some of the Nashville locations.
I kept walking by this place Rise and wanted to get some biscuits, but never did. I know it’s a chain, but it smelled great and it was feet from our rental.
Wish I was up there this weekend for SECT
location would be the main thing that would help, but it would be average for Charleston
I love Martin’s downtown, just hate smelling like it when you leave.
For a BBQ joint... their burgers are the best thing on the menu
I miss Peg Leg Porker. Still my favorite
We ate at Pelican & Pig and then drinks next door at Pearl Diver last weekend, and I was impressed. I highly recommend it. I am excited to see what happens to this area in East Nashville once Publix opens in two years.
As a property owner in east Nashville... I am excited for the possibilities.
I wish I would have bought a house in east Nashville instead of south Franklin :/
Heading here in a month for a bachelor party...whats the recs on steakhouses? Tried searching the thread, but 168 pages is a little rough. Staying in the Gulch area
Kayne Prime for sure (if you're in the gulch this option will by far be he closest. Be sure to get your reservation in now though)
Oak is good
Jeff Ruby's is great but it is over the top decorated so be mindful of your guests
Looking like a great weekend weather wise. See y’all on a patio or rooftop
Yeah, but will you actually come and introduce yourself? I knew you were too cool at the CWG concert with your other friends to say hi to a stranger from the internet.
I was more concerned with the chances of asking a stranger if he was Daddy Rabbit and being wrong
He should be easy to pick out of a crowd. He's got his name painted on his shirt.
Kayne is easily my favorite and it’s in the Gulch
Maybe next time.
Little Feat at The Ryman tonight. Gonna be a zoo downtown being sandwiched between the UK and UT games.
I know from experience that this is more possible than you would think
Same. I bought a new construction duplex right by the park on Straightway/Chapel back in April 2016. I will ride my bike to Publix and hopefully in a few more years walk back from Rosepepper at night without fear.
I agree with the 4 but if I had to rank 1-4, I would switch Bourbon and Oak because of the view at the top of the JW.
When is Nashville going to host a South regional?
South dates are announced through 2022. Memphis gets another one in that span.
Hopefully we are on the next round of announcements.
We just moved to new digs in Hendersonville for better schools and better house setup for family. We are renting the east Nashville place and making a good chunk on it.
You're pimping it, dont lie.
Truth... Mrs. Titties isn't very keen on the 4 22 year old hot bitches now renting what was our first home. I keep hoping and praying for that 11PM maintenance call.
I'm praying you need help when it happens
I have a bitchin set of tools should this happen BAT
Back the fuck off. I'm already familiar with the house and it's future problems. I probably caused a couple of them.
I thought house of cards was pretty good as well and the atmosphere is top notch. Not Kayne Prime level on the food but pretty dang good.
Fucking Pekka man. That save in the 3rd was unreal.
I need to put together some things to do for family coming in for the wedding in September. Lots of golfers and most will be staying in Murfreesboro. What are some good courses they could get on there or in Nashville?
I don’t know the golf courses in Murfreesboro, so I’m sure there are some good close options. The Presidents Reserve at Hermitage is a really nice public course but gonna be close to an hr drive.
Old Fort in Murfreesboro is a good course and decently priced.
Nashboro village is always a favorite of mine.
Cedar Crest (Murfreesboro)
Champions Run (Murfreesboro)
Indian hills (Murfreesboro)
Old Fort (Murfreesboro)
Preciate it. Some of them are pretty serious about golf so they may drive to nashville but if there are good options closer than that's better.
President’s Reserve is probably the best public course in Nashville but I don’t think it’s worth 2x the price as Old Fort with a 50 min drive from the Murfreesboro. Some may disagree but Old Fort has a pretty good layout. My friends who grew up in Nashville and play competitively really like it and I think it’s where some of the state high school tournaments are held (or used to be).
Old fort is a very solid course.
Wife and I will be staying in East Nashville in May. Have five days or there abouts. The food suggestions seem great, but what are the must do activities? Also, my wife will want to know where the best places to shop are. Probably for dildos or something.
For shopping, Hillsboro, Green Hills, and 12 South has a bunch of boutiques and stores.
See a show at the Roman, Preds game, Country Music Hall of Fame, Belle Meade Plantation are typical things to do and see that aren’t overly touristy
