What are some dog friendly hiking trails? I'd like to start taking Blue for hikes. Cornelius Suttree I know you were our resident dog and hiking expert when you lived here.
Percy Warner has the goat trails in Nashville The blue trail at Edwin warner is a nice one It’s 2.5 miles and not too much elevation gained
Gonna try out this new hop springs brewery in Murfreesboro with some friends tonight. Dog friendly venue with a Tom petty cover band tonight.
It is pretty cool but God all mighty it's hot. They definitely to put like some big industrial fans up or something.
Quite the lineup at the ryman next week Marty Stuart's Late Night Jam with Dierks Bentley, Tyler Childers, Sheryl Crow, Steve Miller Ryman Auditorium - Nashville, TN Wednesday, Jun 5, 2019 9:00 PM
Staying at Hyatt Place downtown tomorrow night, what are some good places to eat/drink maybe some live music close by?
Do you wanna experience touristy Nashville? If so just stay down around Broadway and honkey tonk it up. Jack's down on Broadway is pretty good food. There's also Demos and Pucketts which are both really good imo. Capstone 88 BIGASSTITTIES Daddy Rabbit etc all know far more about it than me.
Oh yea Crepeswithasmile if you wanna drop some coin on food you can't go wrong with Kayne Prine or House of Cards (magic themed steakhouse under the Johnny Cash museum).
Old Crow is playing at the Ryman. I'm going to try to scalp a cheap ticket. They have singles at the box office still. Buy the cheapest one. If the view sucks, go stand at the top of the balcony. Robert's and Layla's are my favorite on Broadway. Fuck the rest. Uber/Lyft to midtown and hit up Broadway Brewhouse there or Red Door.
Eat: Stillery Bakersfield Southern (may not be able to get a table) Liberty Common Drink/Music: Broadway is chalk full of live music and bars, obviously, but it’s gotten cheesy as hell the past couple of years for the most part. -Layla’s, Legends, Roberts are some original honky tonks still left that are definitely worth going to drink and watch some actual country music. -HQ Beercade is pretty cool -Acme Has good music and a solid rooftop -outside of that Uber/Lyft to the east side or Midtown depending on the vibe you’re wanting
Don’t even bother with Bakersfield or the southern. Liberty common is a great place to go. They’re sidewalk patio/bar is awesome.
Thanks guys. We'll probably just hang around on Broadway and bar hop tonight if I had to guess. Is martins open on sunday for lunch? or any recs on a good brunch spot?
Martins is open every day. If you go the brunch route: Another Broken Egg, Woolworth (also solid for lunch or dinner), Liberty Common, Adele’s, Mockingbird, Stateside Kitchen, Mile End
BIGASSTITTIES you're married, right? If you were spending the day/night in Nashville with your wife and your mom what would you do/where would you go?
I was making a joke. My should have been how. How big are her tits. Implying I would take her out. But I thought it was your mother in law (MIL). Buts it your mom. Then you posted the loss of your dad. Now I'm going to quit posting forever
What sort of activities interest your wife / mom? Are y’all just gonna booze the whole time? Want to do some historical / cultural shit? Are you foodies? Will you have transportation or will you have to stay local to hotel?
it's all good, no offense taken at all. if you know of any single 55-65 year old dudes we'll set them up on a blind date.
Pretend youre a bachelorette party. Buy your mom a crown and stash. Make her yell wooo a few times. She will find some body.
Probably. we mostly just want to drink/eat well and listen to some good music, so I should have that covered with what ya'll have posted so far. Would be up for some historical/cultural shit on sunday, possibly. I wouldn't say I'm a foodie, but I don't want to eat shitty food either. Yes, we'll have a car.
googled it, it does look like something they'd enjoy. Probably hit that up when we get there tomorrow while we're waiting on check in time.
Damn 24 into Nashville is shut down to what looks like one lane starting around d Haywood exit. Multiple first responders on scene. Looks like bumper to bumper traffic in all lanes all the way to exit 60.
Was over off 12th at Operation Stand Down today and I had forgot how much of the city was projects on one side of the street, 500k houses directly across the street from them.
