It's nice and peaceful and very slow if there hasn't been lots of rain. Not sure how it would be running now. Get to the boat ramps early, if you can. Rental companies use the same ramps and most of the day-use or camping areas are still closed around here so all that's really open are the ramps. Water may be cold enough to still catch some rainbows, but there's plenty of white bass and smallies in there too.
Is the Cumberland just not kayaked as much because the scenery isn’t that great? it seems like it would be fun to put in near opryland and float downtown
Current is too fast and downtown is very dirty. Sewage runoff, lots of it. You can kayak it, but you may be dodging barges, boats, and river trash for an hour or less float. Cumberland up in Kentucky or by Dale Hollow is beautiful and worth a trip, though.
I thought I remember people saying the water in that area is generally pretty dirty so people avoided it.

Has anyone ventured out to their barber? 2 months of my girlfriend trying to cut a fade with beard trimmers finally made me try a different barber. I went to Monty's Barbershop in the arcade since 2014 but went to the new Scout's East Nashville location this morning. Very easy to book, all staff had masks on, although there were only two of us in there, they spaced us out pretty far.
Went to mine today. Limited the barbers in there to limit the total # of people in there and they were in different rooms. Glad to be back
