lol fuck em.
allows a new shirt company to enter the market
I expect more of these with us stuck in phase 2 in perpetuity. We are in Jacksonville for the next week and we can't wait to take our puppy to a dog park.
Even with them opening things back up I think it's going to be awhile before people are comfortable enough to pack out restaurants. And who knows when the tourists will really start coming back.
Is kayak’n on the harpeth cooler in Bellevue or Franklin
I missed this
they have a great buffalo chicken sandwich. They won't miss a beat though and that might actually boost their business given the crowd there is almost entirely comprised of old SEC frat bros wearing YETI hats, Costa sunglasses and the same golf clothes. You can't go there without seeing half of BA's graduating class of 2003
sucks for the locations not owned by that guy because the branding is so similar. Although again, maybe it actually helps their business
The Corner Pub in the Nations is owner by him and another guy. The other owner has terminated the business relationship and is closing the restaurant
Jesus. How fast you can fall
Played 9 holes at Pine Creek today. Nice course but jesus it was hot.
Kayak’d 10 miles on the harpeth in franklin
kayak’n is sweet
went to Doughnut & Dog today to pick up a to go order and it was fucking packed shoulder to shoulder. No one wearing masks including the people working. People don’t give a shit
Get a pool. Problem solved
I felt like I had jumped into a pool after we got done for sure.
My Con law professor was on this case /csb
I did the short route on the Harpeth yesterday with Tip-A-Canoe. Felt amazing. Supposed to be a 2-hour run and we stayed from 9am until 4pm lmao suckers
how much did tip-a-canoe run you?
$27.30 is what I was charged by the group leader who paid for everyone's kayak rentals upfront.
That's not bad.
Caney and Barren Fork were $40-50 and Piney is around there as well. Elk River has a flat rate for all their floats last I checked and was closer to what you paid. Yall are gonna want to float tailwaters with this humid weather we're having.
Have you seen this weekend's forecast?
Sunny, with a high near 84. Light west northwest wind becoming north 5 to 10 mph in the morning.
Mostly clear, with a low around 59. North wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening.

Would have been so fucking perfect for Bonnaroo.
Any of you that grill a lot, any recs on local butchers or best places to get a good selection of meat? The stores near us are slim pickings right now although I'm sure that's true all over right now.
Y'all been to Mother's Ruin in Germantown yet? That place is a fucking riot. Love it.
Been there once. The upstairs is a sweet set up as well.
I have a hard time believing a place with avocado toast on the menu is a riot but that spicy chicken sandwich looks fucking amazing. We may go check it out this weekend if it’s not packed to the gills. They don’t have outside seating right? I miss bars. I still haven’t been to one since March 13th.
Mesob International Market and Butcher shop. Been wanting to try it.
Butchers block in cool springs is solid
Porter road is solid as well but a hike from the Boro
If you ever get back to Murfreesboro any, Tagz is good.
Is Deezy’s still open in the Boro? They had elite hot chicken
Not sure about outside seating but I will report back. I've been twice now (and going again tonight) and they have aggressively served shots each time. For free. Maybe it's just them opening up and trying to corner the market while Neighbors is closed.
They closed their brick and mortar place but they still have the food truck I think. Murfreesboro sucks in regard to restaurants. Chain city, USA.
If a decent place pops up, you better hit it up a few times quick.
It was a great time but less rowdy than the previous two times. Still a great spot. It was "at capacity" at 7pm last night so they are staying busy. They DO have outside seating....it's a garden-style atmosphere out back.
Don't recommend the burger....too sloppy for a nice place like that. Chicken sandwich was pretty good. Their waffle fries with Old Bay on them are ELITE. For real though they are the best fries in town. Cholula honey wings are delicious as well. Would recommend the "Oreo Bomb" as well.
More details on the oreo bomb please
Handful of fried Oreos covered in powdered sugar with a cream glaze (think the same glaze as a cinnamon roll).
Every place in Nashville should be smoke free.
Jeni’s skillet cinnamon roll is their best ice cream flavor fwiw
Totally disagree. It should be up to the owner but I understand people are trying to pander to new Nashville. I don’t even understand how a dive bar can call itself that if you can’t smoke inside and make it a proper shit hole.
Taco Sa1ad we went to Mothers Ruin and the chicken sandwich is very legit and there are definitely tons of free shots so thanks for the heads up. It was a good time. I was super underwhelmed by the fries though! I was hoping there would be more of an Old Bay flavor but they were fried well enough. The cocktails were really good. I all I think we got about 3 free shots a piece (group of 4).
I’m indifferent to a place choosing either policy.
Lol pandering to new Nashville
what would you call it?
i smoke when I drink
Being inclusive. People with ashtma (or many other issues) should be able to go to any bar they want without fear of having their health compromised
I could see alternating nights.
but ya, cutting out smoking isn’t new Nashville.
its definitely not old Nashville
And while I understand your point Cornelius Suttree i still think it should be up to the owner.
That’s a risky game.
