Have you read/listened to “In Harm’s Way”? Best and most complete version of the story. Interviews with multiple survivors and tells multiple experiences of different crew members. The audible audiobook was intense. One of the few times I’ve ever had a genuine physical reaction to a story. Could feel the nerves and tension just listening to what they were going through. Definitely one of the best credits I’ve ever spent on there.
I just finished “Endurance” by Alfred Lansing on Audible. It’s about Sir Ernest Shackleton’s attempt to be the first to cross Antarctica in 1914. Amazing story of survival in the worst conditions on Earth.
I'm no expert but I feel like it would be advisable to be slightly further back from this thing than this guy was.

Not an expert but I think it basically cut the blood from going to the head. the cat looks exhausted also, it must’ve taken it a ton of energy for that kill
