I watched e1 of Hostile Planet with drinks own pee guy. Not best ever but entertaining, think it comes on Monday nights on Nat Geo. Barnacle Geese are crazy
Our Planet has some of the most amazing shots I’ve ever seen. Planet Earth II was solid but not as good as the original. I’d put our planet up there with the original, it’s phenomenal.
The blue whale segment on ep. 2 or 3 or whatever it was blew my mind. The HD on that shit is stunning.
I know I’m dumb and soft hearted and naïve but stuff like the flamingo chick that gets left behind because he can’t walk with all of the salt around his legs ruins me
i had to look away otherwise i was going to full on cry. i know they are not supposed to help the animals in any kind of way but there is no way in hell i could watch that live and not do anything.
I really enjoyed One Strange Rock. Will Smith narrates but the story about the Earth is told from the perspective of a bunch of astronauts. Very solid.
Frozen Planet 2 was amazing. The stuff they feature is awesome and it looks so fucking good. that and another one I think Green Planet are on Prime
The “Planet/Earth” ones (Attenborough) are all spaced out in release years by a decent amount. Safe to assume you’ve seen: Planet Earth 1-2 Blue Planet 1-2 Frozen Planet 1 Life Life on Our Planet Those are prob the most popular ones the Hunt Dynasties Seven worlds one planet have also been out for a few years but not as well known imo. All are very good docs though Green Planet, Frozen Planet 2 and Dynasties 2 all came out in the UK within the last year so unless you torrenced them they’re all pretty new to streaming in the US. Assuming ole grandpa Dave can stay alive for a few more years, Planet Earth 3 and Blue Planet 3 are both in filming stages iirc and they’re only going to keep getting more amazing with advancing technology. The shit they did with racer drones in Frozen Planet 2 behind the scenes was bad ass
