That George injury looked like both the Giannis injury in the 20/21 playoffs and the Clint Capela injury in the 21/22 play-in. First look and it seemed like they would be out for a year but both players came back pretty quickly.

Hyperextension injuries look and feel terrible. The can absolutely tear ligaments, but the majority end up with just ligament sprains with 2-6 week recoveries depending on extent of damage.

 

Was hoping for a 4-6 week thing for pick swap reasons, but I'm glad he avoided serious injury
