they were excellent defensively last season. both are athletic and capable of holding their own when forced to switch on guards. the floor spacing is the issue. i think the cavs are hoping mobley develops a reliable three to help alleviate some of the spacing issues
You consider that carrying water for Leon Rose? Why would Leon Rose want it out there that he tried to ship Robinson and Barrett to Utah? Also, the Knicks have been cleared they weren’t offering 3 unprotected picks.
Karma for all the guys Simmons has bitched about not playing in the Olympics and other international tourneys?
This wnba game is amazing What on earth is Seattle chick doing though. Just put her arms down allowing a game tying layup at the buzzer
Wonder know the league will set-up the expansion draft and regular draft for these teams? Every past NBA expansion team since modern expansion started (Charlotte/Miami) has been absolute dogshit for a while. They average over 6 years each before making the playoffs. Miami was the earliest after four seasons but they were still 38-44 that year and took another two to be over .500. Teams could protect 8 players back in 1988 but that likely won’t work in today’s NBA with length of contracts and FA. Would each team protecting 5 players plus any players with 2 or less years of NBA experience? What about the draft? Don’t think any team will allow these expansion teams to pick 1&2 or have a shot at that in the lottery. Would slotting them 5 and 6 after the lottery winners work? I don’t think the league wants these teams to struggle forever but also not be an immediate contender like Vegas was in the NHL. Will they have a smaller cap in the first years as well?
Based on the number of "north" teams in the east, Minnesota makes sense for travel time...but NO is geographically more east, so I took them. We also needed hood b. goode to offset the the hit we were taking by absorbing audrew into the east fanhood.
I assume the deleted tweet was about expansion, obviously. But is the deletion of said tweet a retraction and this is all baloney?
NO and Memphis are already relatively close to the Texas teams (and OKC for that matter) that they are in a division with, and moving them into a division with a team like the Hawks wouldn't really be much of an improvement division wise, even if it would be preferred from a conference standpoint. Meanwhile, the closest division opponents for the Wolves are Denver and OKC. Milwaukee, Chicago, and Indiana would make so much more sense for them from a division standpoint.
Yeah Minnesota should def go East in a potential LV-Sea expansion scenario. I'm ambivalent about who the other team should be
