I would love to see Kyrie and LeBron back together so they can get back to remembering why they hated playing with each other instead of constantly leaking to the media about how much they want to play together again. They deserve each other at this point.
complete transparency: No swipes here, didn't get a chance to watch much of Miami this season and I legit thought he was still coming off the bench. The fact that he got hurt so early in the MIL series...I just haven't really seen him play since last year
He was the starter all year. Missed 15 games but it felt like more because it seemed to always happen when he seemed to finally be getting back into rhythm with the team, particularly in the second half of the season. Had a bunch of nice games but his efficiency dipped as some people itt may have predicted when he stepped back in the starting lineup. He also played in a lot of lineups I think Spo would have never trotted out without some of the injuries we had throughout the season.
know he had a good number of missed games but still crazy that Luka couldn’t even make the play in after the 22 run. just a domino of bad decisions by Cuban
Thank you, based T-Swizzle. https://www.espn.com/nba/story/_/id/37782568/nba-finals-2023-taylor-swift-curse
Tough one for Herro. Obviously you want to play in the Finals and try to win a title. But it's also the ultimate set up as the fall guy if things go bad. And I would think the chances he could come back and actually be good are really low because that's an enormous ask of anyone.
I'm honestly also not sure if the Heat are a better team with Herro on the court, which is wild to say about a guy who was the team's 3rd leading scorer and arguably best shot creator
Feel like Miami should trade either Herro or Duncan at the draft but no idea what the return would be
Be really curious to see what Struss and Vincent get offered. Caleb Martin, on his current contract, has made himself an extremely interesting draft piece, too.
Every team is about to have like 2 max guys and a bunch of min contracts. Being a solid role player is about to feel real bad
Yeah I haven’t heard or read one thing about the new cba that I like or makes a lot of sense. NBA players have the most power and the dumbest fucking leadership it seems NFL has a weak players Union and evil owners. The NBA just has dumb fucks everywhere
Listened to Simmons/Russillo talk about Portland and the lack of potential Lillard trades that exist. Is there a better Dame trade out there than this?
yes (if fvv decides he wants to be elsewhere and miami can wink wink a big contract extension for him)
really? i don't think the orlando package is attractive at all (and i wouldn't think they'd trade dame to a team like orlando anyways). suggs looks like he's destined to be a backup guard. isaac literally doesn't play so he's a complete zero -- except mr. unitus is actually horrible off-the-court so he's a real negative. he definitely wouldn't fit in portland. and 6 and 11 aren't all that valuable when we already have 3 and 23 (and 43). it's not like we're going to have five rookies next year. if we're forced to trade dame, i'd much prefer a younger 'building block'-type player at 4/5 a la barnes, nic claxton, etc. to pair with simons/sharpe/scoot or miller. i think toronto values barnes too highly - they originally wouldn't include him in trades for KD last summer - but maybe masai will have had an awakening in the last couple of months because he's been an idiot for a full year.
