Lakers were in every game. Denver just out executed them when it mattered. Tough for them. they gave Denver some tough ass games
Unbelievably, Lebron clearly has some juice left in the tank. Wish he would ring chase. He doesn't need to. But it would be cool if he did imhv
That would not be cool, watching him put an entire poorly coached team and poorly run franchise on his back in year 21 is much cooler
Porter Jr was the X factor of that whole series, that's the guy Minnesota is gonna need to keep in check
well he did win a title and then got eliminated by the champ two years in a row. not sure I'd call it a mess. He just happens to be a free agent and I think he should consider getting pretty wild with his free agency.
Not to mention one of those was in the Western Conference Finals. First round losses suck and nobody should get credit for that, but being in the Final 4 is enough to not call it a mess. The roster isn't bad at all, they just have a shitty coach.
yeah because you don’t even post in here and come in here once a year to dance on lebrons grave like a fuckin weirdo
What team would they go to? Would the egos of the two that moved to whatever team the third is on be able to handle that?
You are now arguing with the contention that Denver had to defeat their first round opponent prior to playing a second round opponent. Because wow, just stunning hoops illiteracy.
Give the three of them an expansion team in Seattle. My post wasn’t serious, I’m sure the salaries would make it impossible.
I don’t feel like this was close at all. At one point when Denver was down 10 the line on some gambling site for them to win straight up was -120
it’s like the Seinfeld episode where Kramer and Mickey get hired to act out sick conditions for medical school students, Joel is just picking random conditions out of a hat each day. Gonna be tough when he comes down with scurvy before game 6
That’s because they’re the better coached and more talented, overall, team. If either of these teams ended up on the other side of the bracket, I’d bet on this having been the conference finals. Unfortunate draw for LA.
I think almost everyone agreed that they match up with the Thunder way better than they do the Nugs. Denver and probably Boston are the only teams that can effectively deal with LA’s size.
Weird argument to stand on from my post. I didn't say they didn't deserve to be in the play-in or seeded 7th. I said, from LA's perspective, there's no one that was a worse draw for them than Denver.
