This fucking donut paid almost 1 ETH to mint two and is feeling okay about it. I hate seeing the failed transactions, and I'm terrified to check the contract to see the damage the whales did to make gas spike to 800 gwei. This is bullshit and the reason why the average user is afraid of crypto or thinks NFTs are a joke. I'm sorry if anyone lost gas and feel even worse about saying I'd be around to help.. and wasn't.

Correct. It's 1 year access. A lot of that mint cost goes back to the community wallet for giveaways or whatever we decide to use it on. If I'm new and wanting to know what's selling or what drops to mint that's the place to be. About 50% of what I know comes from that group or Cole.

Do you consider your NFT ventures a hobby, side hustle, second job, primary job? I have been involved in the space peripherally since early February but want to go in deeper but I also can’t guarantee more than 1-4 hours a day to pay attention. But it seems like a fun side hustle if I can find a way to play the game efficiently.

There's as many pending transactions for VOGU as there are available mints. But you can mint 17 at a time. Gas just peaked over 1000 gwei for fast gas. Lololol glad I wasted mine on two cats.
this may be a dumb question but how does gas shoot up so high for just one nft release? people just bidding it up to try and guarantee they mint one? and the high gas fees hit any transaction so if I’m just a regular dude sending eth and have no clue about NFTs I’m confused as to why it’s so high?
it's called the gas wars because it has nothing to do with when transactions are submitted it's when they're processed. And you can cut to the front of the line by paying more than someone else does

I feel like q3 being 400 and Q2 jumping to 8,000, which is substantially higher than any of the previous drops, is some bullshit, but it's a good way for them to get folks to spend money in the marketplace I guess. that 799 price tag is no joke, but it won't deter any of those who qualify I don't think
Feel like the number of packs is so limited that it should be a money making endeavor but I sold a bunch of stuff so I'm not qualified and I don't think its worth hitting the marketplace to buy cards at a loss to hope to make up the difference with an $800 gamble.
I definitely feel like almost every pack will turn a profit, but definitely not a guaranteed 2-3x type deal
