Put in my first USDC withdrawal today. Hoping it goes smoothly because saving that extra $20 would be nice.
Well I got about the shittiest Holo pack I could get: D. Garland Holo J.Grant MGLE Gobert MGLE T.Ross MGLE but I’ll take it.
Any rumblings on what the challenge formats will look like? Tempted to scoop up some of these round 1 moments while they’re cheap
On one of the office hours, it was mentioned that playoff moments can be re-used in future playoff challenges. So I assume that teams that advance will have their moments needed for the second round maybe in place of commons that were used for round one.
So I just checked my account Bc I had honestly forgot about this and found out my Terance Mann dunk card sold for $375. I never got an email. Anyone else ever have this happen?
Happens to me a lot. I never get emails about sales I don't think, so I only find out when I login and see a new notification
Don't have any sorare's, but I've gotten really into the NFT space in the past 2 months. I like screenshoting posts of my sales in the crypto thread so the bitcoin nerds can call me stupid for making money. Maybe it's safer here.
One appears every 2 months to tell us we're all idiots (who are all profitable) but otherwise it's a safe space. What's your NFT situation?
My first NFT purchase, aside from Top Shot, was the Vee Friends drop from Gary V. Now I'm big on The Alien Boy and My Fucking Pickle. MFP is netting me 10x returns and hasn't been released yet. It started as a joke on twitter and is absoultely entertaining to follow and be apart of. Bulls on the Block is something else that should be dropping this weekend that I'm going to grab. And my avatar is a Gutter Cat, and he's currently in a contest to be apart of the first NFT characters being in a music video and album. I should find out today if he advances. Someone already linked one of my Open Sea accounts on here without my permission, so might as well link it again. My VeeFriend and Punks Comics are stored on a ledger wallet on a different address. https://opensea.io/615
So far, yeah. It takes a bit of time/effort investment but if you snipe a good auction you can easily 5x your money on some of the cards. I got a 10x yesterday, which I'm excited about. Plus the gameplay is fun and profitable if you put in effort. My NFT complaint has always been utility, and it does a great job with that. I can explain strategy if you want to get involved but if you are, use a referral so you get an extra card (and the referrer does too obviously)
Very interesting stuff and a lot of it is new to me. Your account is absolutely wild. Do you have an idea of investment/profit at this point? I don't really dabble in the stuff you do but I still think it's cool. Just not for me
Almost all of that I've purchased from flipping something else. For instance, I've already made my initial investment back on My Fucking Pickles. Started with 35 and have gradually sold and bought back in as the floor drops. Still have 25 in my wallet. I'll use that liquidity to buy Bulls this weekend. This cost me .08 ETH to mint and was sold overnight. 2-10x returns is fairly normal. Some of The Alien Boys are only getting me 10-30% returns, but I also have some more sought after one's being offered at 4x the mint price. They were just released last Saturday. And equally there's some stuff in that wallet that has no value. I usually let the listings run for 1-2 days, re-evaulate the market and re-list like above.
Totally forgot there was a collector score component… how many total accounts have been active last two months?
