wife binged this show last month and then watched the newest season when it came out this weekend. I guess everything shut down due to COVID as they were filming the season finale, so they decided to do an animated episode instead

yeah. Her mom kidnapped her daughter and was never in her life. Kidnapped and almost killed Red. She needed to die. Also Liz becoming supervillain story is a stretch.
Keen is such a piece of shit and they keep trying to frame it like she’s trying to do the right thing and unwittingly leaving destruction in her wake.

we knew Red was a wanted fugitive. . #1 on the FBI’s most wanted list. We’ve been told he is Russian. Trying to make me care that he might be a Russian agent is beyond dumb. Making him a “good” or at least loyal individual and then turning everyone against him because he killed someone the viewers didn’t care about is a strange thing for the writers to do.
the only Dembe story line was Keen using his daughter and granddaughter against him to find out what Red was doing.
I don’t remember them from before so I was trying to not spoil it in case it was actually new info. Edit: Wiki says it was a season 3 thing and I just forgot.
I wish red would just kill keen already. I know it will never happen, but its dumb to me that shes doing all this bc of her mom who really didn't give 2 craps about her.

I hope so. They’re also implying that mr mustashenov is her dad, which will likely turn out to be untrue. I’m convinced that the writers have no idea what’s going to happen and are just writing episodes with no story or endgame in mind.
I agree that’s the way they made it seem but I have no idea why Liz being mustashenov’s kid would make Townsend loss his shit and why that would hurt Red so much. mustashenov also didn’t seem to care Red killed the mother of his child.

The fire has at least been consistent Iirc original story was Reddington was a Navy intelligence officer that turned, now we’re in fucking Latvia with N13 being some quadruple agent in some scheme to keep Liz safe and they’re still trying to act like her being his daughter is a secret this is days of our lives level stupid but I’ll probably keep watching, what does that say about me
I dropped a few seasons ago after they kept going back and forth on if Liz was Red's daughter or not. Have they at least confirmed that yet?
I think I stopped hate-watching this show 3-4 years ago. Need to jump into the new season to see how bad Keen is.
