It honestly doesn't need to be 100% accurate, after the 1st season it all changes w/ camp, recruiting, red shirts, etc.
So...anybody know how i can check out the rosters online some way? I'm moving from BR to NO and right now my PS3 is in NO but i'm in BR so I won't be able to get online to look at them til Sunday.
That's a good point. Most of the changes we'd do will be off the team after 2 seasons so we might be better off just going with what we have. Making changes would be a pain in the ass all the way around. For instance, if I took Sentimore off Bama, would I edit him to his backup and then his backup to a FR? Or would I just edit Sentimore to a FR and then have his low rated backup starting? There's a huge dropoff on the game, but not in real life. And what would I ratings would I give the FR? Would be a huge clusterfuck. I vote to just roll with the rosters the way they are.
Yeah, they have Driskell way under rater IMO too, judging by what I saw him do in HS, he should be around a 91 or 92 IMV

I'd be perfectly fine with jheat (OP) or someone else running the league. I don't have near as much time these days as I did the last few years.
I honestly don't care, i know in the past you could switch commish if need be. I was just saying I could set it up around 5 that way we could get it going, and then switch it to you afterwards
Sounds good to me. CZA was saying that you can set it up and make it private and just post the password and then people can join. That's easier than having to assign teams to PSN's and all. Hell, you can commish the whole thing if you want. I'd be ok with that.
I'm too busy to advance shit on time and stuff, i could try but I just started working full time, plus I ref on the weekends sometime. I mean I'd be on enough to recruit and play, but i don't wanna be the one responsible for advancing
DBL I believe i still have your password and such, if it lets me log on I can create it for you and PM everyone the password as long as you make a list of all the teams so I don't have to search this thread. Also I will move the ratings back that I changed as I wrote everything down, or I can just redownload the rosters from gatorbait But let me get this straight we aren't going to move people that are our of position on our teams? I don't even know what my password is now, fwiw. And yea, no changes. After the league starts, if you want to change Bubba Starling to a different WR for NU, go for it. I may change Sentimore's name since he's no longer on the team. I'll just change him to a different player that's about the same year and not on the game.
Also... NO CHANGING NAMES TO RANDOM SHIT LIKE MOUHAMMAD SHOCKMALLA OR WHATEVER. This is mostly directed at jheat, but others as well that might do it. The game is much more enjoyable when we know the players. That's why it's more fun with names than without names. I want to know that was Clowney that just went beast mode. Also, if I'm playing Oregon, I want to know where James is. If his name is changed, I have to go to the DC to see who he is and all that. Fuck that. Lastly, if I spend an entire season recruiting a kid and lose him at the end, I like to follow him and like his name to stay the same.
Alright but I honestly think you should at least turn Bubba Starling into Brion Carnes (as about a 79 overall) for Lucky as he will only have 2 quarterbacks on the roster without that change, not to mention the 2nd stringer will be a walk on and Brion Carnes was already in the game yet taken out for some idiotic reason.

ACC and B1G merge. Big 12 and P12 merge. Nobody goes from coast to coast. Keeps teams as geographically as balanced.
Also, when setting it up, apparently you can change rivalry games this year. Do we want to make all 4 teams in a conf rivals of each other? I think it's a good idea. That way you don't have 1 team playing 3 user games in the conf while another team lucks out and gets 1. What about OOC rivalries? Not sure what I think about those. I like playing different people OOC every year.
This IMO becuase it keeps more of the conf's together. B1G has 3/4, ACC and Big 12 combine. It fucks the Ducks but idk, just looks better IMO. And that blows about Saints but I'd rather not wait 4 more days. I mean let's just see how long it takes everyone else and go from there. Maybe we can just auto him for the preseason and week 1 though.
You can set up "Protected Rivalries" 1 pair of teams that are in different divisions of the same conf that play every year. I don't think you can do more than that.
Fine with me. And if it would be easier for one of the other guys that know most of the PSN's of the other guys to be commish that's fine with me as well. And about the nosaints question not being on his ps3 til Sunday, he'd probably miss all the preseason stuff or we'd have to wait.
Yeah I don't really see away around it, we either wait a couple more days or we Auto him until he gets back. I'd rather not wait, if we have user v user games in week 1, the weekend would be a great time to get them in.
Geographically it's all fucked up. OU and UT in the ACC with FSU and VT? NU and Oregon in with Mich and OSU? The other one keeps people in the same time zones lol.

Well Neb is now in the B1G 10 so it's tough to really argue against that. As far as geographically, Oregon doesn't fit anywhere, just doesn't stick out as bad is certain places. Yea, NU isn't the issue. My issue is Texas and OU going to the ACC and Oregon going to the B1G. Oregon would have to travel to PSU? Texas to Boston College? OU to Miami?
Nebraska Changes: My requests are few, so please honor them. thanks 1.taylor martinez being an 82 speed is bad (Robinson may be faster, but not 13 points faster) anything higher would be appreciated. 2.Brion Carnes isn't on my DC, and I only have 2 qb's on my DC, I don't know if you could create a prospect or if you need to move Starling from WR to QB and such, but he is our clear cut no.2 and 79 overall as a rsfr seems fair. 3. Everything else changed is minimal, names and such, although Jamal Turner being a 71 overall and 87 speed is too bad, seeing as he will most likely start this year and is the most explosive guy on our team. Read the last few pages. We aren't making any changes. We'll just roll with it. If you want to change Starling's name to another FR WR after we start, go for it. 2 QB's sucks, so I guess that means you need to hit the recruiting trail.
Just make sure every team that changes conferences has new rival games (for recruiting purposes). FSU leaving ACC leaves them with no rivalry games.
Just go ahead and set it up. I'll just get my my girl to accept my invite on my ps3, then see if I can do all my stuff online thru the dynasty website. If I can't she'll just have to do everything. Either way I'm gonna get it done. The first game is the only game that may be a problem cause LSU plays Oregon, so i won't be available to play until Sunday.

nebraska has iowa, and they are the last game on the schedule every year. all the others are in the big 12. so please make me some rivals. jheat is a natural rival for me anyways.
FSU isn't leave the ACC. This is a good point, though. Any team that changes conferences needs to be given a computer rival in conference so they can bring recruits in for that game.
Just asking that Texas still plays Texas A&M on Thanksgiving. Can't deprive the recruits of that little gem
