Complaint from NY US attorney's office
Please one of them be Greg Paulus.
Lamont Evans from Okie St and Chuck Person from Auburn are two.
Emanuel Richardson from Arizona
Sounds like Lamont Evans is the one who got Thornwell suspended
Lamont Evans probably learned all that from Underwood, if youre being objective
Are these names being leaked from somewhere, are they being arrested across the country, or are we just finding out the names because this is as fast as Tom Winter can skim and tweet a 120 page document?
Cliffs? Is this related to funneling money through AAU coaches or something like that?
Maybe, but underwood was gone from us well before Thornwell was suspended for unknown reasons in the middle of last season. He was almost certainly someone the agents would want to meet and Evans was setting them up with an sc player.
Its right there in the link in the 2nd post
Tony Bland of USC is the fourth.
Tony Bland from USC
I don't know which one
I really want this to be racqueteering because the word is so cool.
Regardless those dude’s lives are over.
How blatant must this have been to bring forth charges. This shit happens every day from AAU to the pros.
*Also coaches from San Diego State, Oklahoma State, and Arizona.
I'm starting to think Bruce Pearl might not be on the up and up
Got it. They're posting new documents at the bottom as they release names.
They just posted the Adidas dudes.
Is it still Bruce pearl? That guy always creeped me out
FBI going after Auburn and Adidas? This is my wet dream.
Shit happens all the time
Glad I could provide you with today's jack off material
When does Bruce release a statement saying "It was just a BBQ"?
Convenient that the Feds find the time to indict a black man
pretty sure this may be zion williamson. they arrested a guy named merl code who is heavily involved his recruitment
Welp. He just needs to come to Clemson to get away from the big money basketball programs etc...
So, reading the complaint against all of them, it doesn't seem like the payment was the issue that is being investigated.
It's that 5 universities colluded to pay a kid to change his commitment at the right time so that the colleges (2 universities are cited as being victims, but they weren't named yet) were "ineligible to compete" (for other scholarship-caliber players).
So Adidas and these five Universities are being charged with "collusion" and "fraud" by teaming up to bribe and flip a,kid.
Jay Jacobs can't make it past lunch today, can he?
We are a such a terrible basketball school. This was probably as easy for them to figure out as Ole Miss paying football recruits
You wouldn't expect something like this from a program run by Bruce Pearl.
Cute, but there's a big difference between the NCAA and the FBI.
I assume Adidas was part of it bc it hurt a Nike/UA program? Or did they just want the kid after he went pro?
Shiggityshwo looks like nassir little's aau coach was arrested in connection
No arrest threads
All those elite players wanting to go play for an average coach in Arizona makes sense now
I'm glad we recruit the right way, now I can sit back and enjoy
The bag man cometh.
Hang on, you’re telling me Auburn is cheating in sports? Get out of here with that nonsense.
The one with Lamont Evans reads like he was introducing them to current sc players. Which lines up with Thornwell and his suspension
No Kentucky assistants? You know Cal does this shit.
If you hadn't noticed Adidas was getting its hands dirty, you hadn't been paying attention.
It's still Arizona.
