#Missouri Tigers what’s the deal with this Perkins kid? He enrolled early and just dipped after spring ball?
Yeah. Also position coach that recruited him is at UCF now. So that probably had something to do w it. Also said he was home sick. He was committed to Oregon and another school before us. Just seems like of of those guys that has a lot of people in his decision making process. But… he seems like a decent player. Got good reviews during the spring.
Biiiiitch... Spoiler I have zero expectations on this one though. Maybe he’s talented, but we’ve literally never had a Notre Dame transfer work out for us. I can think of four off hand. Some WR years back (Richard Jackson maybe?), a TE (McCollister or something), Parker Boudreaux, and Wimbush.
He’s been a bit of a drama king in this process. Initially wanted him to come play with his brother, but I’m not sure I care anymore because I like the other three transfer lbs MSU picked up.
KU DL Marcus Harris entered the portal. He is one of KU's 3-4 good young players. Auburn is already reaching out. He's 6'2 280 SDE with three years of eligibility left.
DB Tyreke Johnson entering the portal. Buyer Beware- he's fucking awful. Don't let his former 5* status fool you.
I think they had a RB transfer that no one has picked up. They do have a good Safety that seems to be between us and Texas
He looked slow and small when he was forced to play. Looks like he's never squatted a day in his life.
He peaked as a soph in HS and people had him believing he was the next Antonio Cromartie 6’2-‘6’3 playing CB
He never cracked our 2-deep in his three years and I'm thinking he was getting passed up by younger dudes this Spring. We've signed a boat load of talent at DB the past two years.
Transfer quarterback TJ Finley, who started five games for LSU as a true freshman in 2020 before entering the transfer portal last week, said Wednesday night Auburn is among the schools heavily involved in his recruitment. And, he added, the Tigers are "100 percent" a factor. "Every school that has gotten in contact with me that has shown interest is basically saying I can come in and compete for the job," Finley said. "I'll leave it at that." According to Finley, he also has communicated with "Alabama, Ohio State, Penn State, Georgia, Mississippi State --and really, the majority of the SEC schools."
