Some rumors floating around that former LSU QB Myles Brennan is enrolling at Southern Miss. not sure I buy it unless he just wants to play as close to home as possible and is pretty much guaranteed to start because our QB situation is a disaster. I mean we played/started our RB Frank Gore Jr at QB the last three games of the season.

 

Yeah agree. I just seems like bigger programs are on him. Really the only thing we got going for us is location to hometown.

 

I'm hoping that Shane Illingworth doesn't leave because Spencer Sanders is hot garbage and Gundy is QB loyal to a fault.

 

Hope he does the work to be eligible. Everyone has said he stopped going to class.

I always said he seems like a guy whose gonna prioritize going back to MS if he transferred, even if it’s at a lower tier. Someplace that’ll let him sling it 50 times a game like high school. Not sure if it was mentioned in here, but Craig Young entered last week. He was a backup LB/S hybrid guy. Got plenty of hype in the offseason, but didn't really get much run on our shitty defense. Crazy good athlete though. Could turn into a player somewhere.
