We keep adding more games and epanding existing conferences for games further and further away which takes them away from academics so the schools can make more money. The schools don't pay the players though and can't let them transfer freely. Smells off to me but I'm no lawyer
he turned his son's recruitment into a little business. according to now deleted tweets he might have done a light bit of embezzling. https://247sports.com/article/deon-...to-put-prospects-on-the-right-path-174614298/
when that student-athlete has only played two seasons of football in the last five years at one school and wants to play closer to home for legitimate family and mental health reasons -- does not make sense."
Still not sure what the net good is of limiting transfers. Also seems strange to want to limit transfers but then think this guy was screwed. Doesn't seem like you can do both.
Coaches and schools want to limit transfers. Waivers bring ambiguity to the process. Think the timing of this and making it retroactive is the biggest issue for me. I’m all for no waivers except for the free one time, you head coach leaves, or graduation. Everything else you sit a year. But that’s mostly because too many transfers is hard for me to keep up with.
Transferring after two games seems foolish, especially when you've already used your one free transfer. I feel like if you're going to transfer twice you either better be prepared to take a big step down in the quality of team that'll take you or you better have a special trait. Just not a lot of success stories of guys who have transferred more than once.
IDK, we take back the 6-8 drops our team had he'd probably be average. Our offense is really bad right now. Thinking he'd be average and have relatively similar stats as MSU didn't seem that crazy
Our coach got fired for masturbating to a rape survivor. Our season was over weeks ago. But it’s still funny to think that Auburn fans were excited about Thorne
Yeah but if y’all had Thorne maybe your coach wouldn’t have had those urges…probably didn’t think about that
he did it while Thorne was still here so maybe Thorne gave him those urges prob didn’t think about that
Thorne wouldn’t make this team be any different than what they are. Rumors were Kim had beat him out. Believe it or not
Probably true. Why else would an incumbent leave post spring? At worst he wasn't 100% the starter and still competing. No one expectsd him to be amazing. But if he could be mimic his stats at least somewhat he'd be average...which most expected. Not too unreasonable
https://247sports.com/player/xzavier-mcleod-46100066/ This guy quit our team/was kicked off for refusing to travel this week. One of our top cruits from last year, 4* DL. Have at it fuckos
