fwiw Ohio State isn't actually interested in Evan Stewart despite whatever report is out there. edit: I meant to post that in our team thread but oh well fuck it.
Let the record show that Florida is also NOT interested, which explains why he won’t be a Gator next year.
We have had very annoying recruiting losses where we are the bridesmaid to you guys considering we really don’t recruit at your level. Annoying.
Ya it is kind of weird. Its probably Fran Brown. He does a lot of work. We were all over Harris from the start. Staff has been trying to get him more reps and PT the last few weeks. Was pissed when it looked like Penn St was flipping him
Outbid Auburn imo he’s a good player but staff thinks he’s better suited to play star or safety. He’s not having it.
Its hilarious harris and peal(either probably would have started at um this year) were like the 20th best recruits at uga and were a+ targets for psu and michigan. Pretty miserable time to follow recruiting for programs like psu, Michigan and nd with beyond delusional plans with nil.
You think it's any different recruiting against uga for us teams in the south? son of arguably best defensive player in FSU history, biggest legacy recruit since Ernie Sims......and he has like 2 career tackles at uga
At least jones was a 5 star stud and fsu was a mess during his recruitment, um and psu are finishing in the top 10 and losing dime a dozen db prospects for uga that are a+ targets for psu and um that would literally start as frosh. If um and psu had legit nil programs they'd just spend way more on guys like peal and harris than uga was willing to go because they are dime a dozen for uga and uga has way bigger fish to fry.
fair enough but our staff recruited both of those kids from the start. Daniel Harris was committed sort of early iirc. I need to go back and look. also I'm not trying to make it sound like I understand our DB recruiting because I don't. We take a random 2-3 extra DB's every cycle. Same for OL.
FSU has more top 10 commits from the state of Ga than UGA in '24. They're out-recruiting us in Georgia. Yet they still bitch.
Georgia last lost a football game....3 years ago? I'd stick with wherever you're currently getting them
I'm expecting like 20 players to announce being in the portal from MSU on Saturday (play Friday) so we are going to need whatever coach to be able to bring in a lot and hope to do a good sales job to try to keep anyone with a pulse (not that many anyway)
We're desperate and slinging cash, no doubt. We could use a DB. Can't wait until the Brock Vandergriff rumor start heating up. We need all the shitty Christian School QBs we can get
I wish BVG nothing but the best. I'm just talking shit about AJ Harris but it wouldn't surprise me. Good player too.
