    Daniels was injured in the 2nd quarter of the first game and out for the season. I’d guess that he could say he redshirted that season and was looking to transfer. Not really a fan of that because he never laid out those intentions until a month ago. Plus if Slovis turned out to be mediocre then he would have stayed to fight for the job.

    I suppose what makes more sense is that the coaches feel so comfortable with their QB situation that they’re trying to bring in a new transfer for no reason whatsoever. That sure makes more sense IMO.

    He was pretty good for an ACC bottom dweller last year, and is good with his feet too. Seems like a way better option than a bunch of dudes who haven’t played a snap or are coming off significant injuries.

    Maybe he’ll suck, but at least he’ll be better than Kyle Trask.
