The only thing dumber than actual sports betting odds is something with this disclaimer "hypothetical college football betting market is for entertainment purposes only and does not reflect any market that may be available on betting sites and betting apps."
has anyone started reporting on these talent agencies that are representing the players? gotta have some greasy folks in that scene.
Would take a reporter being ok w not getting scoops about player movement anymore. Which answers your question
you bribe the lackey , standard underworld move no way there isn't a ex-con element with some of these agencies
I think he will be good, would have preferred him to stay. I think Deonte Lawson getting hurt and subsequently deciding to come back for another year did us in here.
He’s got a ton of potential. Probably the portal guy I would’ve most preferred to keep this year.
I’m head of the class I’m popular I’m a quarter, erm, running back I’m popular My mom says I’m a catch
I thought he was a sure fire first rounder after last year and the throws he could make. No idea what happened this year.
No idea what you guys should expect. Could be great, you could want to bench him mid season. Likely both.
Yes to some extent but he can/could fit it into windows 30+ yards downfield which he still could do this year but it was left often and with far worse decision making in between.
Think Beck probably just tried to do way too much this season. And I get it given the cast around him.
He did throw some of the worst INT's I've ever seen but also the worst thing Carson could do this year was hit our WR's in the hands.
This is probably it. He made some of the worst decisions I've ever seen. I'm sure he was pressing and frustrated as hell with our receivers.
Now that we have 3 years or so of transfer portal data, has anyone written any sort of interesting long form article examining what portal strategies have worked - position, stats/metrics from smaller school players that are transferable to big schools, types of players that work out/don't work out, etc? I know they have been a few that dabble in it but haven't seen anything expansive on it and would be really interested to read one.
All speculation but it was probably a combo of bobo/searels, his best receivers leaving, and becoming a millionaire and likely checking out a big.
Thought Beck looked really good the last month of the season. He made some fantastic anticipation throws against Tennessee and Tech. He was lost the first 1/3 of the year, though. A bunch of the INTs he threw against Alabama, State, Florida and Texas was mind numbingly bad.
This was him last year. Made great reads presnap. Incredible anticipation on his throws. Big arm who could be incredibly accurate. Idk what happened this year. I guess Bobo because a lot of that went away.
