After a breakout freshman season at Michigan, Zach Charbonnet looked like the next big-time running back for the Wolverines but then as a sophomore he was in a by-committee approach and his stats dramatically dropped. He’s now in the transfer portal and the former Westlake Village (Calif.) Oaks Christian standout is rumored to be down to UCLA and USC. Both sides seem guardedly optimistic about their chances but the Bruins could have the best shot.
Losing a McCaffrey is one thing. Bleeding hogmollies and white walk-on WRs is quite another for Nebraska.
Kalen DeLoach. That’s a name I haven’t heard in a while. guy should be at Ga Southern. Truly a blog star created prospect
A WR we agreed to let play QB who doesn’t think he got a fair shake at QB. A walk on WR who we gave a scholarship who has trouble staying health and dropped two easy touchdowns this year and the undersized younger brother we were forced to take of a multi year starter.
We got a guy who was a senior in 2014 back for year 7. And another guy heading into year 6 with eligibility for a 7th.
My nephew redshirted his first year, injured foot in game one of RS FR year and was given medical redshirt, and this year didn’t count toward eligibility. He’ll be a 4th year RS Freshman next year. Gonna be lots of old bastards playing CFB the next few years
2015: Freshman JUCO - DNP (not good enough) 2016: RS Freshman JUCO 2017: RS Sophomore Oregon - DNP (not good enough) 2018: RS Junior Oregon - Played 43 snaps in 5 games 2019: RS Senior Oregon - Played 26 snaps in 4 games (technically a redshirt year since it was less than 5 games) (Petitioned NCAA that his first year of JUCO should not count because he did not play) 2020: 6th year senior - Started all 6 games at LT 2021: 7th year senior - 2020 didn’t count
Shane Beamer sold the portal as a huge part of his plan. Maybe he wasn't clear about which school he meant
He sucks Spoiler Nothing special but would've preferred to keep him. He played a bit this year but just kind of seemed like another guy.
A lot of upside and traits, but was afraid to tackle from the limited enough I saw. The coaches also put him in the wrong LB spot (IMO) so they share some of the blame.
They feel guilty about how badly they abused UF in the bowl game that they figured they’d make it a more even game if they took a bunch of UT players and rematched is next year.
