Somebody should start a google doc to keep track of this. It’s unlikely anyone is going to go through these last few pages and record the 40 people who said they’re in.
Bought a bottle of Isaac Bowman purely because it was port barrel finished and I love Angel's Envy. Am I a dipshit for this line of thinking?
My plan was to notify of the opportunity now, but then start over with anew thread for recording purposes. A google doc works well and we should definitely set one up but we don’t need to do it yet. I hope to get more info this weekend and then we can put a plan in place.
OF Single Barrel challenge this evening, two different warehouses and of course a floor 1 vs floor 8. Results in a nice proof differential and interested to see difference in flavor. Also note these are from two different stores called the Bottle Shop from opposite ends of the state.
This Old Scout is pretty good but really hot for 120 proof. I've heard yall mention pouring a glass and letting it just sit for a while . Also heard talk that the first pours of bottle is really hot.
I have 45 Russell picks, and have plans on buying 8 more in the next two months. I could always use one more though.....
Those in the know, speak to me about older SAOS single barrels.. I picked up a 2016 12yr in a trade but not sure if I want to open it or put it in the vault. They seem to demand pretty high value on secondary but I suppose that’s for good reason
Not a store pick, just a regular single barrel. I've seen certain 12yr store picks go for $750+ on secondary which is nuts to me
great, MGPs wheated mashbill is unique and I predict will be highly sought after once those barrels get a little older
The random Facebook bourbon group I am in did 8! 8 starlight picks on Saturday- I mean wtf that’s just an outrageous amount of picks from one place, they also did another New Riff and Good Times, so ten selections in a weekend. Dudes are shelling out cash
Oh, but it’s real life, but for an online tater peddler. Whatever, take their money. I ain’t mad atcha.
