Yeah it’s jealousy. Nice find.
What do you guys think of the Elijah Craig Toasted Barrel?
Also someone in here recently was looking for Weller's. Which one was it? I can't remember now. Was it OWA or Special Reserve?
Also my store has High West Prisoners Share. Anyone have any thoughts on that one?
I love it
Two ECBP received, and all nestled in with their peers.
What do you think of that Garrison Brothers?
It’s a fun bottle to bust out from time to time. I actually like it better with some water. At full strength it’s too intense.
I’d like to see an ECBP-off between you and Leeroy Jenkins! Not sure you can compete, though
I’m told all Texas bourbon sucks
Can you get me one? I haven’t had it
My store has one but it's a bit over MSRP. It's $215.
I am sure I cannot.
Obviously a noob. Supposed to place it in your lap and shoot the picture while in the car.
Love the ECBP collection. Do you try to get every batch?
I used to try and grab two of every release (one to drink, one to hold), but I've lost interest in the past year. Enjoyed B518 a lot, but finished that off a few months back. Believe my oldest now is C919.
Also, Hancock's is $70 now?
I think BrickTamland currently has more ECBP than I do now. I've been using mine as gifts, doorstops etc. For a while it was kind of ridiculous.
No one man needs that much ECBP. I think BrickTamland should give some away.
There has to be someone local to whom he could make a donation.
I have exactly 2 ECBP. Where does that rank me?
At least one higher than me.
Welcome to soviet whiskey cooperative.
Geef ahl your Elijah Greggs.
Chattanooga group releasing a GT pick that's finished in a strawberry brandy, then vanilla barrel then a cocoa barrel, for an overall Neapolitan finish. What a time to be alive!!
yeah but will it taste like ice cream?
Sounds like the stuff that was going on in the beer game. I didn't even know strawberry brandy was a thing. Strawberries are really hard to work with.
They are calling it astronaut ice cream, apparently its pretty good from the samples
That sounds horrid.
First thing I thought of was a Cycle stout
Same. Rare Scoop or whatever that one was called. Can't remember now. I had it and it was decent but man people flipped out about that beer.
once upon a time this was my favorite bourbon on earth. You could go to any liquor store around here, and find it on the shelf for like $40. BT was like $25
it’s very good, but you can’t find it here and lol at paying $80-100 for it
for a good 10 year you can get anywhere, I like Russels
Where on earth can you even get a Hancocks anymore. When I see them I see them for $200. I bought like 10 of them for $40 3 years ago and pretty much gave them away.
What is regular Buffalo Trace going for these days? I saw it today and it was $50-60 I think. That seems pretty high.
$27 here when it’s in stock
I just paid $27.
Yeah I thought that was ridiculously high.
Total Wine puts it out every few months.
Seeing the videos of Costco in Arizona and California is just depressing
Things like weller single barrel, stagg and lot b at retail
What the fuck Jimmy the Saint
Damn, must be nice.
You have to go wait at Costco each morning for opening to get them. Not like they are just there overflowing.
News to me.
Got a bottle of Weller Special Reserve for $20 at Total Wine the other day. First time I've ever seen any Weller here. Was limit 1.
Can pretty much always find Special Reserve around here and usually OWA as well. I saw a bunch of SR today.
Honu on Maui tonight
OWA and GTS being the same price has my mind all jumbled.
next time you are out and see some OWA I will be down for sure to buy them. And WSR.
$50 for antique
