Apologies but sometimes you have been baptized in the waters of river roots and then you pregamed your flight with hazmat NBC. But I said what I said.
Heaven forbid someone like something you don’t. Maybe we can find common ground on MWND and OWA. It wouldn’t surprise me to hear you like WPSR. I need a ginger ale just thinking about WPS
The Old Times Bottled In Bond with the black cap actually holds up well in blinds and has a small secondary value. But once they moved from Brown Foreman to Sazerac a few years ago (blue cap) it’s been poor.
Early Times? Old Times? What's the one with that text message screenshot of the dude orally siphoning barrels surrounded by flies?
I guess I'm so far out of the whiskey game that I have no idea what WPSR is. If I had to guess: woo-pig sooie rye?
Its ok, appears as though theres a lot of stuff itt that no one really knows what it means. I'm not sure what riro worthy means and I didn't know leeroy has a shtick of just not liking any bourbon unless its rye. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Willett_Pot_Still_Reserve
Yeah, our official thread stance on Willett Pot Still is "better paperweight than whiskey." Sorry, moose out front shoulda told 'ya.
Costco has a $33 AWS Wheated pick that's been stellar. Can't argue with that, plenty of great stuff out there you don't need to hunt.
I haven't really been buying anything lately. I've got too many bottles anyway. Plus sinuses have been particularly rough for me this year so I haven't even been drink much. That's crazy cheap for an AWS pick though.
I'm still looking for another Soft Red Wheat single barrel pick. I got one about 5 months ago, but it's long gone and I haven't seen another around here since. Need to look next time I'm at my in-laws in St Louis.
Flaviar opened up the vault yesterday. Buffalo Trace Vintage 1996 O.F.C. Old Fashioned Copper Bourbon Whiskey, $5000
I enjoy them. I always forget my wife got me a little kit to make my own. Got put in garage storage during kitchen remodel, and never got it out.
I have this one. Works well I just rarely see them done out even when it is on the menu (I need to dust)
None of that pic is surprising. From the skull smoked OF maker to the plastic bottle netting still left on the Blanton's bottle. Non-zero chance that bottle has been refilled with another distillate, hopefully Hancock's.
Not refilled but it should have been emptied by now. I’ve been on a beer run lately and I obviously don’t drink like I used to. I like skulls.
Gunners Seelbach's: Angel's Envy Cask Strength Restock! We have received a small restock of Angel's Envy Cask Strength. This is a highly allocated product and is limited to 2 bottles per person. Grab a bottle now! Buy here: https://kla2.io/cJJyb6 Text STOP to opt-out

Have you heard anything about the Secretariat? Think I'm gonna get a bottle for the hell of it(assuming they're readily available tomorrow) but have never tried Ragged Branch

I grabbed all 3. That said, we are considering doing a 20 year light whiskey now through River Roots.
