That seems to be the going rate in DC lately. Me no like.
Are the Old Fitzgeralds worth the hype?
Someone on secondary is selling 2 oz. samples of the 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 for $180, so $30 for a 2 oz. pour of each. Since I doubt I’ll ever run across any of these at retail & wouldn’t pay secondary for something I haven’t tried, I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on them.
14 and 16 are super hard to find. 11 and 13 are good. 9 is OK.
yeah. I rarely see it anymore, so was very tempted.
nevermind. read post too fast.
$100 to me would be wayyy to high for Blanton's. I like the stuff a lot but damn.
Find yourself some Hancock’s Presidential Reserve for $50.
David Nicholson’s? Think it was mentioned here before
Damn, nice snag. Were there anymore?
RC6 is interesting. Can definitely taste those oak staves. I like.
your moms an oak stave
Super brown sugar oaky sugary goodness.
I just finished another bottle of this recently, I thoroughly enjoy it.
I like both, prefer the black one but the white is a solid wheater, so depends on your palate.
Unfortunately no. Lone survivor
What’s the black one remind you of? It’s higher rye right?
pperc reasonable price for an Old Fitz 15? seeing 300ish
MSRP is $10/yr aged so the lowest you'd see is 150, but not many places are going to have it at that price point.
i think that's about secondary. maybe even a little more.
That sounds delightful, need to find a bottle.
Thanks local store has it for $249
That's not horrible for the 15 yr I guess. Somewhere in between.
Picked up a bottle of Elijah Craig single barrel on a whim. I really enjoyed it as an everyday sipper.
I'd agree with that assessment.
Larceny BP is quickly becoming my new favorite daily sipper. Which sucks because everyone seems to be snatching it up from the shelves now.
it’s kinda pricey too
$49.99 at my store, which isn't bad for barrel proofs. Less than ECBP and MM Cask Strength and its way better than MM in my opinion.
I’m guessing we should see the second release this month or next, B520?
everything larceny has been sold out the last three times I went to the store
kind of puzzling
Sounds like it starting hitting the shelves in some states this week.
I got an ECBP 0520 a week ago, it’s really good
The youtube bourbon people are already reviewing and saying its much better than the A120
Interested to see how this one fits in the Weller lineup and how much they put out. It would be nice if it doesn't shoot up to a ridiculous price point like every one other than the SR.
I can’t wait to get a bottle of single barrel Weller for $50.
Also I haven’t had a drop since Saturday.
It was bad.
That's cool, I just found A120 last week. I was concerned it was going to be the first release I didn't like from the lineup. The first night it was just too hot and over powering. Came back a few days later and it was very nice. Definitely a must grab imo.
Agreed on LBP A120, sad that I’ve only got one bottle left.
Just reminds me that I’ve still got to grab an ECBP C919 and A120 before these next releases hit.
cant wait to see the prices for this once it hits secondary - I’m guessing $400-500 initially
I just saw in the description that it is another 'limited' release. Why can't BT release another one that's a step up (like this or OWA) for year round distribution like SR? Is that too much to ask?
That’s not the market right now. Make hay while the sun’s out and what not.
Disagree they could release it at mass production at $80 a bottle and make a killing. Instead the middle men will make all the money on this like normal
All Weller products are lottery in Virginia now
Mr. Tamland, you've won a lottery purchase opportunity.
You're purchase opportunity today is "Weller Special Reserve," at a retail price of $24.
Now I’m picturing brick tamland entering a bourbon lottery
Damn I didn't hear that. Sucks. Funny though.
LBP A120? Is this another name for the Larceny barrel proof?
